We were harrassed over a $10 bill that we never even recieved in the mail (during the Covid lockdown no less). We didn't get a "late notice" or any bill thereafter. They just sent it directly to a collection agency - what the actual F*%# is the matter with these people. I can only imagine the families that had difficult times with layoffs, job losses or whatever else during that time - luckily our bill was easy to pay and nothing bad hit our credit - but talk about the heartlessness. Do no Harm doesn't apply in financial matters I guess. Actions like these make the drive for a National Healthcare System all the more important. I can't wait until the executives that make these decisions (to go after people like predators) are working for the boards of McDonalds and Arbys, not making horrible decisions that affect people's lives and well being like they do now.

I visited Dr…read more Dukes in August of 2021 for back pain from a prior accident, seeking x rays and a diagnosis. Initially, Dr. Dukes was very friendly and we started to go over my prior medical history before we went over the x ray results. She asked me a question regarding the Covid-19 vaccine, which I have not received. When Dr. Dukes became aware of me being unvaccinated, she got up, opened the door, and stood in the hallway. Her friendly personality did a 180 and she began to bash me, saying "You're the reason why so many people are dying", "its all because of people like you", "I will not sign you up for in person therapy since you are unvaccinated" and much more. Keep in mind that we were both wearing n95 masks the entire time. After arguing through the doorway for a few minutes, she closed the door and sent in an assistant to reschedule the meeting via Zoom. I declined and made my out of the office. This was, by far, the least professional interaction I've had with anyone in my life. Would never recommend anyone to Dr. Heather Dukes or her office.

I have been in health care all of my life and I received the utmost care, respect and treatmet that I have seen anywhere! Every person on staff were so very professional and courteous, worked in a timely manner and should receive something for their astounding work. In fact I got an application to volunteer since I have been released to go back to work and I would not only like to "give back" but I enjoyed the staff so much and the fact that healthcare is what I know best I'm going to volunteer there. Kudos to VIM and their staff. I only have the absolute BEST to say about them!

I had SEVERE pain and bleeding that kept me out of work for a year before they finally sent me to a specialist, who did the surgery I needed a week later. 4 days into my 6 week recovery, they VIM tells me they don't prescribe pain meds anymore. (Which was a lie because I just heard a guy in the waiting room bragging about how he finally has a pain patch for his back pain. Meanwhile I can barely sit up.). I ended up not healing right and having to have a second procedure to address internal bleeding. It feels very much like most of the people are forced to volunteer there. I was terrified about being put out and having this surgery, but these two doctors encouraged me, were very positive, continued to advise and help me until I had the surgery.
