He's an osteopath and has an excellent approach which combines medical knowledge and common sense. He explains things clearly and simply, and is funny to boot. He also considers whether medication is really needed, and how strong it should be given the specific circumstances, as opposed to pushing medication strongly. His nurses are lovely as are the front of house staff. Even changes in insurance are fairly smooth. The facility is always clean, quiet and never seems to be in a state of chaos (which I can't say for most other doctors offices I've visited over the years). When I come here I am a person, not a slot filling up time in his calendar. Thanks for treating me with respect and kindness and helping me to get better Dr. Knabel!

Two stars are for the receptionist who was with the doctor for the 6 months I was there and the 4…read morenurses who came and went during this time. Because of the physician who insisted on doing his own insurance filing and billing, there were always errors. The first thing he asked at each appt was about the billing and insurance, discussing what we had paid or the insurance had paid. Worse, although I saw him monthly, he never remembered me from one appt to the next, nor anything about me. He did not allow staff to record physician's notes on the visit. He mixed up medications that were written, each time asking what conditions we were treated for and the treatment. The time spent on his record keeping seemed to drive his practice. He would rarely examine me. We both had to relocate so were very lucky to find appropriate physicians. Perhaps it was just me but I thought the way he conducted his office and treatment was not beneficial to my health. Nice man, but odd. I had also gone on a well known website and checked for any recommendations or commentary by other patients. There was only one reviewer. He was rated as an excellent physician by them. Maybe things were very different for them.

When I brought the products home, they were empty. I also purchased a $200 gift certificate for botox. She never used my gift certificate for my botox and when I asked her for the money back, she refused unless I signed a waiver stating I would not slander her business. Did did refund me $575 to cover the remaining aerolase sessions and empty product but sherefused to give me back my gift certificate money. She also had an unlicensed esthetition work on my face which is probably why it never worked and I believe she diluted my botox because when she injected me it was running down my neck and back and after 2 sessions of injections my face was still unaffected. I had to go pay for more botox at another spa so I ended up paying double for botox. The nurses and staff are also very unprofessional and rude.

The lady said the only thing available would be in Indianapolis which home health care workers don't provide transportation to, but l found a new doctor much closer. All my specialists are in Bloomington or Martinsville or Mooresville but this person doesn't even believe in Chronic Traumatic Enphalitis Seizure Disorder which are monitored electronically. She called my neurologist incompetent! He's lovely and intelligent and very well respected!
