From the moment I walk in, I feel genuinely cared for, and the staff always goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They always answer the phone right away and are super helpful in finding appointment times that fit my schedule. I've visited the salon 2-3 times a year since moving to Miami, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. Whether I want to chat or need to get some work done while my hair is being styled, they are considerate and accommodating. My hair is not easy to work with, and I've had my share of bad experiences at other salons. But from day one, Andrea knew exactly how to handle my hair. He listened carefully to my preferences, offered helpful advice, and I left the salon feeling incredibly happy with the result!! That has been my consistent experience every time I return. I always get compliments on my hair after a visit--both for the cut and the color. Andrea somehow manages to get my hair blond without damaging it, which I've never experienced with any other hairdresser. By the second time I called to set up an appointment, they already recognized me, and I was excited to return. I'll be very sad if I ever have to move and stop going here! As a European, I can say they feel like my Italian family here in Miami. I always leave with a great hairstyle and in a great mood. I highly recommend this place to anyone!!

She was extremely detail oriented (asking me questions about my typical style preferences that no stylist has ever asked before) and did an absolutely amazing job. She was able to execute the style I wanted perfectly! Not only was Paola detail oriented but she was also very efficient - my shampoo, cut, and blow dry was done in about an hour. The overall vibe of the salon was another thing that stood out to me - it was pretty laid back and relaxing, allowing me to feel at ease throughout my whole appointment! After looking around different neighborhoods I found BASE. The first thing I noticed about this salon is that they have appointments available to book online. This is SO convenient to those who work weird hours. I feel it also works with the business because they don't have to be answering the phone constantly. I initially booked an appointment to have a consultation which was free of charge. I showed up and was greeted immediately by name. They knew me from my appointment which was impressive. I then met Ashley. So sweet and thorough. She gave me an estimate on how much my hair was going to be. She asked me what I really wanted for my hair in my dream world. I told her and she told me she would try and make it happen. I returned about two weeks later to finally get it done. WOW WOW WOW. It took many hours to achieve what I wanted but it happened. Ashley and her whole team was so amazing. They made my hair look like it had never looked before. They even offered to come back if I wasn't satisfied with my hair two week guarantee. I have no reason to go back. My hair looks so beautiful and I am so happy. Thank you Ashley and team for the great service and HAIR! :)
