So worst experience ever and I was so excited to find a good maid service. I read the reviews posted and thought no way this place could suck but I was so wrong. So I talk to the owner and he seemed polite enough and was able to schedule me right away. We agreed on 2 girls from 12-3 for $139. Which is high for miami maid service but I thought well if there that good its worth it. So 12 o'clock comes and goes no one is here which is the first sign but I figure it's miami we all run late. 12:45 the maid finally shows up. And I say the maid because there was just 1. But I am pretty easy going and don't make a fuss so I just go with it. So the whole reason I was getting the maid service is because my mom is coming to visit and I have two dogs that shed and cause dust so I wanted a deep clean. I made the bed and cleaned around the apt before they came. hoping that they would stick to mainly cleaning the cabinets base boards window seals ext. I had about 5 dishes soaking in hot water but besides that apt is relatively clean. So I show the girl around explain what I need and leave. Knowing the time is running later I come back at 4 and she explains she isn't done yet which I figure I must be getting extra time because it one girl and my apt is getting detailed. But also a problem because I work at 5. I come back at 4:30 kinda in a rush, and she is packed up and ready to go I look around and and notice my fan wasn't cleaned and ask her to clean the fans, there are 3. Come back she is waiting in hall to leave I am in a rush pay her, go inside and noticed she cleaned just one fan. At this point I am irritated I call the owner explain what happened and also questioned why there was just one girl. He explained it must be a miss communication on both parts and they will gladly come back but at this point but I am rushing to goto work. Which originally they should have been out by 3. He offers me a 50 dollar credit for my next vist instead. Then I start to look around and relies I have just been scammed I have no idea what she was doing but the place was barely touched. I informed the owner I won't be needing his services or recommending his business ever. He offers to send another girl but implies it's my fault and there was to much work! !! I never write bad reviews but I am livid I have had bad maid services in miami before this place made them look like supper heros. I am so disappointed and feel really ripped off by this service. I paid $250 (which includes a small tip to be polite) for two women to clean my very small (less than 600 sq ft) apartment and balcony. The balcony service itself was $75 and I expected a deep clean as advertised. But, I was left with stains on the floor and streaked furniture outside from them failing to dust the furniture before wiping it down with water. Inside, they missed the following despite advertising a thorough deep clean with steamers on their website: *crumbs and other debris under my sofa cushions *dust and other debris under my bed *dust on both ceiling fan blades *dust on my tv cabinet *finger prints and other dust on my tv *dirt and a spill on my closet floor *dust and debris under my bedroom chest *dirt and stains on my balcony floor *streaky balcony furniture *did not dust/clean my coffee table On top of that one of them cleaned my toilet with my kitchen gloves. AND they used an entire roll of paper towels. For this price I would expect them to bring their own. Also I was booked for three hours and they left early, clearly indicating they had no desire to double check their own work. I had to ask them to clean the sofa and not only did they not do it properly, they claimed they didn't have the right equipment. I provided a few tools to help them including a vacuum and they still didn't do it right. They were going to leave with my sofa covered in dog hair after charging me over $150 for the interior of the smallest unit in my building. They didn't even have to make my bed - I did that part. I called the owner immediately after my inspection of their work to express my dissatisfaction. I also sent a message through the website the following day. No response. I noticed I had to reach out three times to make the appointment originally which should have been a warning sign. I was willing to pay a premium for better service but now I feel let down, ripped off, and worse, I have to clean up behind them to get what they missed. I had to make sure they had parking; even moving my own car to make space for them in my building. Otherwise, I was told, they may not ever come back. 2. 2 people came to clean my apartment. The 2nd spoke no English, did not do a good job cleaning, broke an item and said nothing. He did not seem to understand the instructions of his partner. When I asked it it was his first day, she replied "No, he just doesn't see very well, so I have to go over everything he does" 3. This an overpriced service. Came down for my usual visit to see my friend down in Miami -- i know i know, maybe i should go other places but wouldn't you come down down all the time if you had a free fancy condo to stay at while you're down there? Terrible. I contacted this company last week because I needed someone to do a DEEP CLEANING in my new condo before moving in. I called them and they sold me a $150 service that included the cleaning of cabinets and appliances (dishwasher, oven, fridge, washing machine, dryer and microwave) and now that I've finally moved in and want to use those items I find out how dirty they are. Broke our appointment for getting my house cleaned upon move out. Had to do it myself. They told me other appointment was taking up their whole day but how is that my problem? I had a great experience with Miami Shine, I actually found them on Yelp. I ordered the spring cleaning when I had just moved in to my new condo and the service was above and beyond. I went to work and left the keys to the condo at the reception and by the time I got back everything was done to perfection. I also enjoy that I could send them a SMS message with any question or special request since I am very busy and do not always want to hop on a call every time I have something to say. I was worried I'd see the typical "miami" level of service here, but I was wrong. The owner himself came and did an amazing job on my 2 bed 2 bath condo in the Viceroy. I was moving out, and it looked better than when I moved in. at $150 he put in several hours of work and the kitchen and bathrooms really showed it. The landlord said it looked great and didn't hold any of the deposit. They tossed out all our old food and brought their own supplies. They did show up a little later than I planned, but they did give a window and they were done with time to spare. We are using them again at our new apt after move in and once a month. wow! After today's experience, i really wanted to write a review to let people know the kind of service you get from the guys at Miami Shine. I am a very busy guy, so I used to have a couple of different ladies that came to clean and I never felt I could trust them with my things or with my apartment being clean the way i like it. It's hard to find good service in Miami! A friend of mine recommended Miami Shine Cleaners to me, since they did a great job at his business. So I made an appointment with them and gave them a shot. They do a great job cleaning. Period. Very professional, on time, priced appropriately for the quality and consistency of service. These guys clean my apartment every other week. I love the fact that they use all natural cleaners and no crazy chemicals. I am very sensitive to chemical smells and these guys make sure that my place is clean and with a bit of a different aromatherapy every time i come home. They always gave me awesome service, that is why I stayed with them. They even have a copy of my key, so they can come clean when I am not here. Now, today i was changing the water on my 100 gallon fish tank and one of the hoses in the pump broke sending about 50 gallons of water all over my bamboo wood floor!!! I was panicking! My girlfriend had the idea to call these guys, maybe they would know how to save the floor. Turned out that the owner of Miami Shine lives really close by and he showed up personally in 10 minutes!!! I couldn't believe it. He helped me pick up all the water, saving me from having to replace $2000 worth of flooring. He even left the floor super clean and smelling fresh!!! Oh yelp, you have failed me again. PROS: -Ryan returned my call right away and after hearing about my need for a deep deep cleaning and carpet shampooing for a 2/2 home he hooked me up with a company he works with called SuperDry carpet cleaning right away and scheduled our deep cleaning ("Spring cleaning" they call it) a couple of days later to have time for the carpet to dry after the shampooing. I am including the carpet company information because these are likely the folks you will encounter with a service from Miami Shine. **notice how this is the ONLY pro** CONS: **carpet shampooing part of the review** -Super Dry carpet cleaning came 2 hours later than the window of time I was given WITHOUT a notification. I had to keep calling and asking for updates. -A young guy finally arrived and was very nice. He proceeded to clean the easy parts of the carpet around the bed and none of the tighter areas around the furniture. -I asked how much the 2 bedrooms of carpet cleaning would cost and he said "oh no one told you a price?" he called his manager I suppose who then spoke with me and said it would be $150 for both rooms (even though he hadn't seen how small they were and the young man only cleaned around the beds). I think he heard me gasp and then knocked it down to $140! HOW GENEROUS. At this point I had wasted my whole day waiting for this carpet guy and was just happy it was over. -When asking this guy who to make the check out to he spelled out the name "Super Dry" and as it was being written said "no no wait, write it to Tal Zamir" it was the name of someone, maybe the manager (?). This was super sketch. **house cleaning part of the review** -Again, the young girl cleaning the house arrived 45 minutes after the window of time provided, BUT at least she called at some point inside the window to say she was running late. -When discussing the 2/2 house over the phone Ryan quoted a price of $200 but said the cleaner would provide an estimate when they arrived. I asked the young girl about it and she said it sounded fine and would call her manager to ask again (?). -"Spring Cleaning" or deep cleaning, apparently means wiping down the front of everything and not the sides or back. I was going to post photos but then decided to just clean it myself. -She even asked if there was anything she missed and I told her the top of some cabinets (eye-level) had a thick layer of dust all along it and she said she would get it, but she didn't. -All of the shelves and items on shelves are as dusty as they were prior to the "deep cleaning" arrival along with the sides and backs of all electronics and items on furniture tops including kitchen appliances. -The floors were only mopped with water and floors and rugs look clean in the middle part but grimy and dusty on all the parts where the floor/rug meet the walls and furniture. I feel really bad because she was a very nice girl and stayed even later than the 3 hours she was supposed to. I don't want this review to hurt her in any way but I just can't believe what high marks this company has on yelp. This was definitely not a 3, 4, or 5 star experience. P.S. This outfit does not deserve even one star...they deserve a minus rating or NO STAR. I hired them and paid them $140 for an in/out cleaning service for my son who is moving out of his apartment. I just arrived today to help him move his stuff. They DID NOT DO any dusting, or vacuuming...they did not clean the refrigerator, the top of the stove was marginally cleaned, so was the toilet and bathroom. To be honest with you I am not sure what they did. Unfortunately my son did not hold them to the task, but this is beside the point. Lesson learned. My beloved cat suffers from acid reflux and her spewage is not only unpleasant to clean up, but it is also really difficult to get out of the carpet (even with the best-reviewed carpet sprays from Amazon). The carpet was not looking good and I was pretty sure my security deposit would be going toward new carpet for the condo upon moving out. Fortunately, Miami Shine came to the rescue. This is actually the 2nd time I use Miami Shine's service, and I believe I'm sticking with them. It's been really hard finding a cleaning service with some real results in Miami. My few experiences prior to this have left me disappointed with the lack of attention to detail (and that's really what it's all about at the end of the day)! These ladies did an absolutely phenomenal job. Very meticulous, I had to say nothing, and they dug into everything I expected and more. Their division of labour was great, they had a plan for how to go about cleaning my 1 bed apartment, and they did it in just under 3 hours- fast and efficient. One thing I do really appreciate about Miami shine's service is they come fully equipped with everything. You need provide nothing at all. They have their own vacuum, sanitizer machine, mops, fresh rags (I've actually had other cleaner services in Miami in the past come with used rags =/ eww) These guys even provide your bins with their own trash bags. So its totally worth the extra dollars minus the headache! my place is left spotless and fresh smelling. OH, did I mention they even arrived with flowers!!? VERY IMPRESSIVE!! I just moved into a condo/hotel and had not totally finished organizing everything that I had unpacked. I would love to give Miami Shine 5 stars. The first time they came they did the best job of any cleaning service we ever tried. They were nice, worked thoroughly, and even brought flowers! But when we tried to have them back, things got sketchy. First my husband called and spoke with them, and they said they'd call back to schedule. They never called, so he called back to follow up and left a message. Nothing. So I called - TWICE - and referenced the great job they did for us before. Still nothing!
