Overall I understand safety precautions and the busy roads but be prepared for a walk regardless if you take uber/ lyft or park outside the stadium grounds.

But everyone I know keeps talking about Inter Miami matches like they're the second coming of E11EVEN, so I decided to go all in. Well... half in. I gambled points I had earned through hotel stays and credit card purchases via Bonvoy Moments. Marriott has a partnership with Nu Stadium, so it offers plenty of opportunities and refreshes them regularly. I bid on whichever match looks convenient and doesn't empty my points vault. After winning, I bought a presale parking pass for $40, which allowed us to get from the car door to the stadium floor in less than 10 minutes. For Inter Miami's historic 7-1 beatdown of CF Montréal, I bid 35,000 Bonvoy points, worth approximately $275, for two Club Level tickets. The package included expedited entry through a lobby that looked suspiciously like an Autograph Collection lobby, complete with a private escalator leading to the Club Level. A dozen food stations cater to everyone from gourmands to grouchy kids, while roughly half as many dessert stations keep the sugar market properly supplied. The Club Level also has clean, luxuriously appointed restrooms, which may not sound exciting until you've used a regular stadium restroom. Cocktails are available for purchase, but beer, wine, prosecco, energy drinks, and nonalcoholic beverages are complimentary. You can skip the bar lines, walk directly to the beverage refrigerators, and grab what you want like a civilized adult with excellent credit. The stadium offers great views from nearly every seat. Jumbotrons and televisions cover the venue, so you won't miss the action even if you temporarily abandon your post for another beer. Smoke blasts from the goalposts after each score, while the supporters' section maintains a relentless drumbeat of chants, flags, and controlled chaos. The match ends with a miniature fireworks display, but the real victory comes when you leave the stadium. The traffic planners must have hired whoever designed Chick-fil-A's drive-thru system. It took five minutes to walk out and only 15 minutes to reach the highway. If that sounds excessive, try leaving iTHINK Financial Amphitheater or Hard Rock Live after a concert. You'll spend at least 45 minutes trying to reach civilization. I checked the cash price of my two seats on Ticketmaster, and the total would have exceeded $400. That's steep when two à la carte seats can cost around $120, but a round of drinks and two meals can easily add another $100. If affordability is your priority, check resale platforms on game day. My recommendation, however, is to attend fewer matches and spend more for the Club Level experience. If you're sitting on a pile of Marriott points, shoot your shot via Bonvoy Moments.

It is a historical day with the opening of a brand new sports arena! The inside is finished but unfortunately the outside still needs work as well as the parking lot. The inside is really mind blowing and absolutely love the colors. The Nu Club has a unique glass tunnel to see the players come out. On top of it are you have the west club and access to seats. The stadium is insanely large and like a labyrinth the first time! Very excited for what's to come!!

The construction teams, equipment and cranes that are building the Hotel and Entertainment district will be around for quite some time. The park is right next to MIA but you hardly notice the air traffic inside the stadium. Nu Stadium probably holds the record as the closest stadium to a major airport.

You can purchase to parking beforehand for a little discount or pay when you park at the garage. It's so easy to walk over to the stadium and there are several security lines and it moves fairly quickly. The team store right outside of the arena has a lot of cute options. There are also stores inside the stadium. Getting in and scanning your ticket is quick and easy. Once inside, you're welcomed by the fresh a/c. I love that the stadium is closed so you're not sweating the whole time. There's a ton of food options from baseball park classics, all the way to some Miami classics like pan con bistec and tacos. There's also really cute photo ops across the venue so it's very aesthetic. Highly recommend getting there with time so that parking is easier and you have time to walk around and explore the venue.

Miami Marlins Park which is at the LoanDepot Park…read more I finally got to go to a Marlins game and it was so much fun! I've been to this venue for a concert before and liked it much better for the Miami Marlins game. This venue is pretty big and I don't love parking at the garages. We usually opt for parking at one of the residential areas for a bit cheaper and to beat some of the traffic closer to the arena. The venue itself is beautiful and made baseball one of my favorite sports to watch. We were playing the LA Dodgers and there were so many Dodger fans but Miami showed out! We won the game for the Japanese Heritage night. I loved that they had a ticket package that came with special jerseys to commemorate the evening. I got to visit friends in different sections and each seat gave a pretty fun view of the game. There was a lot of levels, from the promenade that has a lot of food options, to the kids zone. It's such a fun area to watch baseball, eat good, or just have fun!

The Miami Springs Historical Society, founded in 1986, runs a small, free museum in Charles B. A…read moreStafford Park. It is open on Saturdays from 12-4 PM. When I arrived the door was locked and I thought they were closed but if you knock they will let you in. Maria, a member of the historical society was volunteering her time and she could not have been nicer showing me around and answering questions. She told me that the museum collection was curated by one gentleman who donated it to the historical society. The City of Miami Springs donated the building. Without dedicated people like these so much history would be lost and I am grateful that they donate their time and effort to keep history alive. The purpose of the museum is preserve the city's heritage along with that of neighboring cities. Miami Springs, Hialeah, and Opa-locka were founded by famed aviator Glenn Curtiss who was a contemporary of the Wright brothers. Curtiss started his career building and racing motorcycles. From there he moved into building airships racking up many flying firsts along the way. His innovation in planes helped the military in the run up to WWI. His planes were also used during WWII. His accomplishments and inventions are too many to list. He was considered the Henry Ford of the aviation world. Curtiss moved to Miami in the 1920's where he founded 18 corporations and developed Miami Springs in the Pueblo Revival architectural style. He passed away at the young age of 52 from complications from appendicitis surgery in 1930 but he left his presence all over this area. Some of the displays are about his development company. In a side room there is an interesting 10 minute movie about Fair Havens and Dr. John Harvey Kellogg of the cereal fame. The building was originally the opulent Hotel Country Club and the Battle Creek built in 1926 by Glenn Curtiss in the Pueblo Revival style to give prospective home purchasers a place to stay. In 1929, during the economic downturn, Curtiss sold the hotel to his friend, health, and wellness expert Dr. John Harvey Kellogg for the sum of $10. Dr. Kellogg lived and worked out of the Miami Battle Creek Sanitarium for many years where he treated patients, developed new soy-based food products, wrote, and raised his large adopted family. Kellogg was ahead of his time with his ideas on health and wellness. He lived well into his nineties. The room the is set up to look as it would have during Kellogg's time. Today the building is an elderly residents home. Many of the other displays are about Pan Am and Dinner Key. Dinner Key was used as a base of operations for the U.S. Navy, Pan American World Airways, and the U.S. Coast Guard. In 1917 the first continental naval air station in the country was created. During WWI Dinner Key was used as a Naval Air Base. In 1930, Pan American World Airways built a large terminal and hangers for flying boat service to Latin America. The City of Miami purchased Dinner Key in 1946 and one of the Pan American hangers was turned into the Dinner Key Auditorium. Fun fact, this is where Jim Morrison of the Doors was arrested in 1969 for indecent exposure at a concert for 10,000 people. He was convicted but died in Paris before he could be made to serve his sentence. Today Dinner Key is the site of the Miami City Hall that was created from the Pan American terminal in 1954. Three of the four Pan American hangars are used for boat storage and Dinner Key is now a marina. Anther display is about the Hialeah Park flamingoes. Considering that this is a small space, there is a lot to look at if you take your time. The flight attendant outfits for Pan Am through the years is a fun display from a fashion perspective. If you too like history and are in the area on a Saturday afternoon, I highly recommend you stop by.

There are hundreds of different plant species throughout the garden, and we got to see so many beautiful butterflies flying around and exploring. It's also a great spot for pictures! There's a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, and plenty of pretty areas to stop and take photos. There's also a small gift shop where you can purchase drinks, which is VERY important on those hot Miami days. Definitely make sure you stay hydrated! Overall, such a beautiful little escape in the middle of Miami Beach. I would definitely come back!
