I'll keep this as short and sweet as possible. I have a student graduating Gladeview this coming…read moreschool year. Despite the 1 naysayer, a school Private or Public is only as good and strong as its leader. Great leaders like Ms. Torralbas (School Principal). She has single handily changed the course of GCS to compete with the best schools in town. If you are looking for a school that embodies academics, discipline, family and Christ centered educators, then look no further than Gladeview Christian School. My child is being prepared for so much more than the present. She will one day be a productive member of society thanks to the STRONG foundation GCS has embellished in her soul. It is with great pleasure that I strongly recommend GCS and salute the administration and staff for a JOB WELL DONE! It's a shame when parents themselves act like children. Apparently, education has not served them well, I'd ask for a refund. GCS Fam, keep your heads up and do not listen to negative noise made by clashing cymbals. Love you all!!!! Burt

i went here from 2015-2019. It started off great. Although i had some problems, the administration…read morehelped the best they could and understood where i was coming from. then, around 2018-2019 everything changed. the good, understanding teachers were no longer present, it seemed like all we did was play, and when i transferred schools i was behind. Mrs. Right, Mrs. Reyes, and Mrs. Lemus were the only teachers that cared. And guess what? Theyre no longer there. Coach Javi yelled at 2nd and 3rd graders and insulted them, the french teacher made fun of those who didnt understand, and spanish teacher never taught. Switching schools helped me so much. I grew closer with God, I made better friends, and the teachers care. STAY AWAY from this school fell off and screwed up. Mrs. Dagmar, Reyes, Right, Lemus, the old librarian, and Ms. Miranda were always kind. what a shame theyre gone. Dagmar is the only good one left.

Though it is an all boy school during academic year, it becomes a co-ed summer camp and has been…read morefor the last 30 yrs or so. Pros: dollar for dollar, it's the best deal in Miami as far as summer camps go if you divide the payment by the amount of weeks it lasts. Lunch and snacks, 1 hr swimming class daily, lots of fun and sports related activities, field trips plus morning and after care included. Cons: you have to pay camp in full around spring break time as there are a lot of kids that go to this camp. But with that being said, all the activities and field trips are very well organized. Most of the CITs and Jr Counselors are a little clueless (especially in the office) so if you need to stray from their routine by picking up early or anything, then you see the behind the curtain of organization. My kids have gone the last 2 summers and are very happy. The staff in general are very accommodating with needs as grouping children goes. They give a lot of flexibility with that. Overall, I am very happy with Belen Summer Camp.

For many years I genuinely loved the school. I believed in its mission and in the values it…read morepromoted, including "men for others" and the idea of being a family. Sadly, our experience changed when my son faced serious bullying. Although we reported the situation, we felt it was not properly addressed, and we did not receive the support we expected from the school. Ultimately, we felt we had no choice but to leave. For that reason, I cannot recommend the school. Our experience made us feel that the values the school promotes were not reflected in the way our family was treated when we needed help the most.
