I've been coming to Miami Clippers for some time. Both sons and myself get haircuts frequently with Angelo. Miami Clippers is an upbeat and clean barber shop. Angelo does an amazing job giving us tight and clean cuts.. Angelo is meticulous on keeping their equipment clean between customers. I'm definitely going to continue using Angelo as our barber.. I have been going to the Miami Clippers located in 1821 NE 8th street for about two years ever since I moved to Homestead. I was recommended to go here to cut my hair as I was told it was the best barbershop in Homestead by a fellow coworker where I work at. The guy was totally right. So when Miami Clippers opened up a new location at 3336 NE 7th Street in Homestead I decided to switch to coming here for a number of reasons: 1) It's owned by the same people... quality of one place has to reflect the type of quality you will receive in the other... 2) new place is 0.8 miles closer to my house.... save some gas = save some cash. 3) Fabien, my barber at the previous Miami Clippers, was coming over to work here. That man is a really good barber... I trust him (and I have trust issues) to make me look good. Like all Miami Clipper locations, this place beyond offering to cut/trim your hair also offers other services like hot towel shaves. For those inclined and at legal age, you can also have a nice alcoholic drink while here. This place is nicely decorated and is a great place to relax and get your hair cut. If you live nearby to this barbershop, strongly consider coming by. Place is reasonably priced, especially for the type and quality of the service they provide. read more

I have been there a few times and had prompt, polite service. Today I called while I was on my way to simply ask if they would have a chair open in about 10 minutes. The person who answered the phone spoke no English. He passed the telephone to someone else who also didn't speak English. He was about to pass the phone to a third person, and I hung up. Come on guys, I know it's South Florida, but if you're going to have a business in a mixed neighborhood, you need to have some people who speak English. Place is a joke. Poorly run. Have been going there and seeing same barber. 4 or 5 visits. Not a tough cut and I don't stiff him. Actually tip better than most. Last week I went and was second for his chair. The barber, I will call him "B", took a very long time with man in the chair. The person waiting ahead of me finally got up and left. The owner attempted to persuade him to wait. No such luck he left anyway. Thus I became the next to go in the chair. When "B" finally finished with the man in the chair he nodded at his buddy and his buddy ran into the chair. I made it known that I waiting 45 minutes. Well he didn't care. So I don't care either. I will never go back there. Neither will my best friend nor my grandson. I'm sure there will be additional heads to take our place but I would rather spend more money in other places that be treated like I was. read more

I took my two boys and myself to get a haircut here yesterday. One of the barbers that took care of one of my boys would not get off his phone, I actually timed him and he was texting for about 8 minutes before he even touched my son's head, then once he started he wouldn't stop talking to the barber next to him, took a call and text some more!!! So disrespectful and rude! I bet he won't do this to a grown man! I felt like they took advantage of me because I was a woman with two kids in there! Once I got home I realize that my other son was scratching and saying that he was itching! Once I checked I noticed he had bumps!! (See photos). The place looks fantastic, the staff is friendly but the hair cuts are terrible. Walked away with the worst hair cut of my life. The guy didn't listen to a word I said for my cut. Left me with a big bald spot on one side, uneven sideburns and completely uneven on top. The only thing they know how to do is watch basketball and trim beards and fades. Nothing else. I've been a loyal customer to the original location since i lived down south in 2010 and have moved as far away as north miami beach only to continue to continue to travel down to get my haircut. The new location is fine. The barber that's always taken the best care of me is there and I've been cut by other guys. While they weren't him they all did a great job and my wife is always happy. I recommend this shop very highly and have complete faith in their abilities. I've sent many friends and guests here as well they all walked away happy. Also. I have a long beard that I've maintained for allot of years now and thet do my shaping and trimming. Not one shop i ever tried was able to do that correctly except these guys. Good morning, Usually I'm not one to write reviews. However, this is a case I cant let go without saying something. I walked in, checked in and got called to get a seat on the chair. Once I sat on the chair, I took my stupid mask off, and I was told that I needed to have the mask on (absurd). I asked for a skin fade.. and when I ask for a skin fade, thay means I should be feeling my hair on the back of my head. First problem was, it was not a skin fade. I was literally in and out of there within 15-20 minutes; while this is fast, it lacks quality and precision. Second problem was, because I didnt take off my mask, he never cut the hairs around the ears. I had hairs sticking out. Really unacceptable. I paid high price for low quality hair cut. Very unacceptable. Please consider this, just because people are panicking over covid crap, doesnt mean that the standard for services you pay for should be lowered. Will I ever go back??? I love this barber shop but the attitude of some employees need to change. I usually come in for Gustavo; he is the best at doing my haircut but today I went in with the intentions of getting a haircut even though he wasn't around. As I come in this girl lets me know that Gustavo is not in today, which my response was "thank you for letting me know, I'll get a haircut with whoever is available". I check in, and there is no one in front of me. I give the option to wait for any barber who is available. The girl who first saw me come in, finishes with her cut and I wait for her to call me up and sit me down because you know... she is available. She proceeds to be on her phone not even on her station, just leaning on the center table as if I wasn't there. There were only 3 barbers and 2 of them were busy with other clientele. I am giving 2 stars for my experience today. It was a waste of my time and I feel extremely offended to have been sitting down for about 20 minutes and she never had the urge to sit me down and get my cut. I decided to leave without saying 1 word but I hope she gets to read this or her attention is called. You need to attend your customers and at the end of it of, you're there to work.
