Prestige Cuts - Ok Barber shop - Barbers Near Me - Miami, Florida

I've gone to the same barbershop; New Century Barbershop on (97Ave and 72 St) for the past 18 years. My barber has always been Coco. I recently moved to the 152 area, it was Noche Buena, so I decided to give this barbershop a shot. Should have known better, it's like the barber Gods were looking down on me and said; not today bro, go to Coco! Supposedly, Veteran owned... Here we go; got in at 10:20am 1: Waited for an hour (3 barbers, 4 clients) 2. If you don't have an appointment, they'll treat you like you have leprosy. Who the f**** is this hood guy coming in, get fancy and come in with an appointment bro! Type of sh***. 3. These barbers should have worked at Chick-fil-a first... Customer service SUCKS. There are thousands of barbershops in Miami and 30 in the area. You're a BARBER, but you think you're too good to cut my hair, and charge $30 for an hour wait??????? De pingas My happy ass drove back to Coco. Cleanliness: Good Customer Service: Sucks Cuts: Not worth the wait Class: -10/10 Keep scrolling. read more

Worst ever! Asked for a number 3, got 1/2. Just got out of the military and wanted it to grow, now I have to wait again. I handed the guy a $20, for the $15 haircut, he refused to give me any change. That's ok though, Ill go somewhere else from now on. read more

This place is fire! I highly recommend this place for any (Male) head. Don't expect a nice whisky or scotch while you get a cut but do expect a good cut. Make sure you one that works best for your head and get a number. This place is fast and pretty good with keeping things on time. read more

can I say that this place is the best place to just go and chill..,, I been to a lot of barber shops., what separates this place is that there is the best atmosphere. Open friendly very nice very accepting all races just so much better than any barber shop and can I say they cut some sick haircuts!!!! Besides that I was offered something to drink which was a nice touch, also they have soccer/football games running on their tv's... I usually do not write reviews on Yelp but this time it is well worth the time. I LIVE IN Noth Miami Beach AND I STILL DRIVE MY 45Mins TO GET MY HAIRCUT IN PRESTIGE BARBERSHOP!! read more

Prestige Cuts - JR. is amazing Barber. - Barbers Near Me - Miami, Florida

Worst hair cut ever. The kid cut the part out of my hair. Decided to give them a try after shopping at HD. NEVER again. Walked into an unfriendly shop and got a HORRIBLE cut. Over priced unexperienced kids cutting hair. Don't blink this shop won't be around long. $18 bucks to screw up a simple haircut. I read the other reviews. I can only believe friends and family wrote them. read more

Unfortunately I went to this place because I read such good reviews. I had a really bad experience at this place. Besides that it was extremely hot in there the guy that cut my hair did a horrible job. I told him I only wanted a fade and to please only cut the tips on the top that I like my hair long. Needless to say he left me with almost no hair and that's because I told him to not cut anymore when I realized what he had done. Deff not going back and even do I saw other guys giving pretty decent cuts I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there as you might get the same guy that I did and get the worst cut of your life. read more

Went to try a new spot. Got up and left after I was told to go wash my hair in the bathroom sink because I had gel. The POS barber told me that he wouldn't ruin his clippers on me. If I could give this trash place half a star I would. read more

My guy there is Yulexis. He got it right the first time and does a flawless job every time.

Horrible service, sat there for an hour watching 4 available barbers make jokes and laugh and let 3 people go before me who came after I did. I ended up leaving without a haircut. read more

I saw their sign a few weeks ago and decided to take my boys since its on my way home and I am always looking for a place to take them to. Well I called and spoke to Manny, who was super helpful and polite to schedule an appt. I went the next day and loved the place. Everyone was very nice. They went out of their way to make sure I liked what they were doing. The boys haircuts were perfect and I was super happy with their service. From now on this will be the only barber shop I take my boys to. Thanks Manny and the other barber which I didnt get his name. Excellent job and service. :) read more

Had a great time at our first visit during the grand opening. Owner was great and barber was perfect. My son said he wants to get back from now on. Very clean, Great TVs and sound system showing game. read more

I been going here since opened up the shop. The people are always in the best mood when I'm there. Every single barber there knows has to cut hairs perfectly like it's crazy. Like Jonathan, Felix, FATBOY, and etc read more

I was looking for a new place to get my head shaved and my beard trimmed. While driving I found a new barber shop that had just opened by the name of Prestige Cuts near the Zoo Miami. The actual facility is spacious and very nice. While waiting you can sit on their couch and watch the big screen TV. In addition they have 4 other TVs to watch. The facility is very clean. The owner is a young guy who cares about his customers. Lastly, the gentleman who takes care of me is Joselin who is a true professional. I highly recommend this place. read more

First time and possibly last time coming to this barber shop. 8 chairs empty, 2 barbers working on a Friday the weekend of Mother's Day. One barber in the front made a walk-in wait 45 minutes because his appointment "was on the way". He could have easily cut the gentleman's hair in the time his customer came in which was 40 minutes after his appointment time. Poorly managed shop. Should definitely invest in a booking/appointment system. If they don't, I see this shop and two barbers of out a job within the next couple of months. Only reason I stayed and got a haircut was purely out of necessity. My barber which I didn't even get his name did a great job but my only issue was that he ate something and didn't clean his hands before cutting my hair. Stupid little thing but for a shop that says they have the best barbers and blah blah, should do better. If you have time to wait, this might be the shop for you but I would strongly consider other options before coming here. Nothing prestige about "Prestige Cuts" barber shop. read more

Ive been coming here since I was 15 and its honestly an excellent choice when it comes to fresh cuts. The barbers are spot on and all of them are very professional in what they do. Theres always an interesting conversation and feels like a old school neighbourhood barbershop. Would recommend to everyone. read more

This barbershop is great and I have recommended to other moms. First time I see a girl cutting hair in a barbershop that is actually good- she cut my sons hair and was great with him. Couldn't be happier! read more

Great shop great barbers. Visited today for the first time and was very impressed. Will definitely be returning.

Nice place. Real clean. $15 bucks for a haircut is pretty standard. Although there are places that charge $13 and just as good plus whatever tip you wanna give. I tried this place out when they first opened and I had a pretty good experience. This time, not so much. If you come to this barber shop make sure you have an appointment. If you don't you will sit there for a painfully looooong ass time. I waited an hour before someone was finally free that didn't have an appointment. You ask me why did I wait that long. Well its like when your in a line for a roller coaster ride and they tell you it's a 30 min wait, but you happened to get into the line right when shit got busier and you end up getting there in 45. When you hit that 30 min mark, you're like screw it, I already waited this long might as well stick it out. So I kept waiting and just when I thought I'm next finally! Someone pops in and jumps in front of me with an appt. Oh well. I guess I'm used to the barber shop I normally go to. The guy is busy too but he's very quick at cutting hair, so I don't wait more than 30 mins. These guys seem slower, like they're stuck on 3rd gear the whole time. I mean it's cool and I'm sure they have a lot of customers, but I probably won't be going back there. read more
