I even ended up in the hospital with Sepsis and another infection. I feel confident that if I had not stopped seeing him for a while that I would not have ended up in the hospital. I recently started seeing him again for some pretty serious gut issues, and I am already starting to feel better by following what he told me to do! Both of my adult boys and my daughter-in-law also go to Dr. G. They report that he is the only doctor they have been to who actually cares about them and who "listens" to their issues. If you are having any health issues or are just not feeling like yourself, I highly recommend Dr. G. In my opinion, you'll ask yourself what took you so long. Below is my 2018 review: Dr. G is an amazing doctor. My entire family goes to him even though he is not on our insurance. He is very non-judgmental and easy to talk to. You can be honest with him because he does not judge you; instead, he works with you to make you feel your best and stay healthy. I also love that there's a doctor my kids trust and respect as this gives me peace of mind. He talks to you and learns about your life style, medical history, etc. (along with comprehensive blood work) before putting a plan into place. I had depression, felt overwhelmed by life in general, and had hot flashes. He had me do blood work for things my primary doctor overlooks and found why I was feeling so poorly. Within 2 days of following his advice and taking Rxs, I felt like a new person. I've been going to him ever since (about 6 years now). Creams, massages etc. I went back to see him and he said that he will inject those areas with a fat burn solution. Well, nothing happened. I went to a surgeon and he told me that he removed too much fat from my stomach. BAD lipo!! I am not able to put a bikini because I feel embarrassed. Now if I want to fix it. I need. $$$$ for a tummy tuck. What kind a doctor is this?

Poor Results & Dismissive Care - Not for Sensitive Skin…read more I visited Dr. Sarah Mess's office two weeks ago for Botox and had a deeply disappointing experience. Not long after the treatment, my eyes became puffy and began to droop, and I developed a rash--none of which I've experienced before in my many years of getting Botox. The puffiness and rash came from skincare products she applied and tried to sell me, despite me clearly stating that I have very sensitive skin. Instead of testing a small patch, she applied the products all over my face. When I contacted her about the reaction, she told me to take Zyrtec for the puffy, drooping eyes--saying, "It can't hurt"--even though I don't have allergies. For the rash, she offered no professional solution, just told me to use over-the-counter products on my own. When I raised concerns about the results and how I looked, she brushed it off, saying it would wear off in a few months and that I was "still pretty." Meanwhile, half my forehead still has visible wrinkles. There was no real follow-up, no accountability, and no real care. I was left feeling dismissed and unsupported. If you value thoughtful, personalized treatment--especially if you have sensitive skin--this is not the place for you. Save your time and your money.

I haven't heard anything back from them since. I thought that their goal would at least be to make them even. I'm at least satisfied with one side. Just wish it was both. I returned to her because back then she gave me good vibes, tried to help with my situation, and even completed a document to ensure my insurance covered it. It was medically necessary. Today I came in for a mole consultation. I've had this mole my whole life, or for as long as I can remember, but it has slowly grown. It's been itching, and I'm now able to squeeze it between my fingers. Long story short, I was concerned about the cancer implications. It doesn't take long to notice that the business is 'money first, everything else later'. I provided my credit card and paid the $200 upfront cost, but had to once again provide this information when I arrived. I understood it was a cosmetic procedure, so it would likely not be covered by insurance, but was more concerned about the possible cancer part. Once you know this, and are okay with that, I suppose it is what it is. Once Dr. Rodney arrived for the consultation, she provided a few options: freeze it or surgically remove it to ensure the 'root' was removed as well. Of course, the surgical option would cost more. If she froze it there was the possibility I'd have to return due to its thickness. I opted for the surgery. The technician whipped out her payment system so I could pay right there on the spot. Perhaps others have run out the door before making payment? I don't know. I suppose anything is possible. We moved to another room, and Dr. Rodney proceeded to remove the mole. She numbed the area so I felt no pain. It was rather quick. I'll return in 10-days to have the stitches removed. I'll update that part after. Overall, it was quick & painless. Well, the only pain was to my wallet, which I would have minded less if they went about it another way. IMO, I prefer the Dr. Rodney of old.

My experience: * I paid $300 for the appointment and waited…read more90 minutes in the waiting room and another 25 minutes in the exam room before Dr Rodney saw me. * Dr Rodney did not examine my skin which has severe eczema! She had her assistants take pictures but the doctor never touched my skin, never looked at my skin and never got any closer to me than about 6 ft away. The doctor spent exactly 7 minutes in the exam room with me. * I asked her why do I have such severe eczema? Is this even eczema? She shrugged her shoulders at me and said 'I don't know'. I asked her what could be causing this issue. Is it dietary? Could it be stress-related? Is it allergy-related? Is it parasite related? She shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know" to every question I asked her. * Dr Rodney asked me NO questions about my prior medical history or my lifestyle or my diet. She did not ask me about my level of pain or medications I've tried in the past or how I was treating my severe eczema at home. * Dr Rodney had no concern for my well-being! I have been her patient for several years and all she is ever done is give me steroids that don't work. * Dr Rodney's like a legal drug dealer because all she wants to do is give you a prescription and send you away... over and over and over again. Yet it is particularly difficult to get a refill. The doctor wants you to keep coming in and pay those $300 office visits so they can give you a different drug and send you on your way without asking any questions about you, your lifestyle or your condition. * You must pay in full before you even see the doctor. * And while you wait 90 minutes for your appointment, Dr Rodney is on every television in the waiting room and also in the exam room showing herself on a daytime talk show. Her appearance on that talk show is played continually while you wait... *Dr Rodney at Eternal Dermatology is not interested in curing you, examining you or exploring what could possibly be causing these chronic conditions. She did not physically examine my skin nor did she ask me any questions about anything at all! Wow. PATIENT BEWARE!! Dr Rodney at Eternal Dermatology does not care about her patient's well-being! Because if she did care about her patients, she would ask questions and explore and try to figure out what's going on with chronic skin conditions. What a terrible experience I had with Dr Rodney. I have never been more disappointed in a doctor.
