So as a local I absolutely love their food the flavor is alway on point. But…read more.... We came in and ordered the fajitas and I gotta tell you, don't, just don't. Theirs so many better options out there. Let me expound, they give 4 tortillas less than a spoon full of guacamole maybe a spoon full of sour cream and ZERO cheese. Our waitress was rude and completely messed up our drinks cause she wasn't even listening. I'm like ok no problem will just take them at 15.00 a drink. If you want WAY better service and food all the way around go to Janitizios. They have fajitas where the extra mile to drive is well worth it . We've been there so many times but because of the time they were closed. This is now a second time fail on el Caporal. Last time it was the lack of communication on their seafood. I've gotta say as a local I'm probably not gonna return to this establishment. Obviously the owners do not pay attention to where the mistakes need to be addressed. With so many options available in twin I'd say avoid this place and seek way better options. Sad to see a restaurant capable of doing better and actually offering the amount proportionate to the plate completely fail on every level. But also seeing other restaurants have the ability to fullfill that at a way better price refreshing. Janitizios for the win!!!

That might be the only swallowing you see as the food is better off left on the plate than in your mouth. I see they're going for that Chinexican vibe as they didn't even remove the pagoda hip-and-gable roof from the sign. The interior screams Chinese, but the music was so loud, perhaps it's also a nightclub. If you're of a smaller stature, maybe this will be an ego boost. While 3 bucks a pop, the tacos are so tiny you'll feel like a giant. At least they are easy to hide in a napkin though, so yippee for tacos so small they could be an amuse bouche. The mojarra resembled a washed up fish that sun dried for years on lake's edge. Send it swimming unless you're one of the few with a pet seagull. Enchiladas...what a fun word. Take comfort in that flick of the tongue as the food will only disappoint. At least we got to revel in the caucaphony of loud radio music competing with a live Mariachi band in the sectioned off back for a 40th birthday party. It's like dueling pianos, but more schizophrenic. Maybe you'll enjoy that dinner and theater vibe. You might even laugh that you didn't believe this review. In the end...I told you so!

When I plugged the address into google Maps, it brought us to the Marketplace that also has an extended stay hotel. OK. Keeping an open mind, we walked down a long corridor and then entered what looks like was the restaurant to the extended stay hotel that has been replaced by Tacos el Paisa. The younger family members are running the front of the house while the uncle was cooking in the back of the house. One of the draws for me was the number of vegetarian options like avocado tacos, and avocado fries. The beans are not made with lard - at least at the time we were there, so if you are sensitive, please double check before ordering. The drinks, Tamarindo and Jamaica were huge. The Tamarindo was excellent and I am not a fan usually, the Jamaica was good but very sweet. There was a delay in the kitchen - I dont remember the exact reason - but other diners received their order before we did. My wife ordered Asada and al Pastor tacos and I only had the Avocado tacos. Again- not sure for the delay. What really brings the star rating down was the extremely lack of flavor for my wife's tacos and the fact that Asada was not skirt steak but rather chopped ground beef. It may have been an off day or they are just working out the kinks to get the business started. The kids were sincere but the overall experience was disappointing.
