Tried to over charge us on our purchase by $60. Cashier acted like it was our fault! Don't come here unless you want to be robbed!

Let's start this meat-ing by saying... 5 STARS all around!…read more Service: A Bunch of Southern Gentlemen! Ambiance: Clean with lots of seating inside and out. Food: Quality, quality, QUALITY! I'd like to try the whole menu, but I've only been twice. The first time, we grabbed their famous Double Standard Burger. Meaty & marvelous! The second time, I grabbed the House Salad with Chicken. Healthy! The third time, I grabbed TMB French Dip. FAVORITE ITEM thus far. (: All times, fries were had. They are crispy, well seasoned and pair to perfection with Heinz ketchup. Oh, and I can't forget the iced tea and lemonade! I made an Arnold Palmer with them... gamemaker for any lunchtime meal. :D Will I be going back? Hands down. I have more to try!!!

Second experience did not live up to my first experience. I came back with my husband. I tried the burger and he had the blt. The beef sandwich is better. I got the single patty. If you get the burger, get the double. The patty was thin. I think the Hawaiian roll made it sweet. If you like sweet burgers, you may enjoy it more than I did. I also bought the "world famous" Swiss pastry shop Black Forest cake. Evidently I've never had their Black Forest cake because it was horrible. Black forest cake is supposed to be chocolate with cherries. The cake was white with cool whip. But here's the big issue - it was dried out and hard. The guy behind the counter told me it was frozen. This cake was not hard from being frozen. I asked several questions about the type and quality. I'm surprised he didn't offer a refund. Not worth $6.50. Not sure I'll go back again.

Food: 5 stars Service: 4 stars…read moreAtmosphere: 4 stars Prices: OUCH! Why this has such a low review is a mystery to me. Everything is really very nice and top notch. We stopped in because we were craving steaks, tho this isn't your run of the mill steak joint. This is a more upscale restaurant, from the ambience, to the decor, to the service, the especially the types of meats that are served. To start, the steaks, most of them, are aged 28 days. So these are the kind you find at other locations that cut, chill/freeze, and serve relatively quick. The aging room is on site, so you can see the meats being aged and made ready for the restaurant side. There is a deli attached that serves sandwiches during the day. We didn't try that side, but the waitress did take us there to show us the area, which at the time we arrived, it was closed. We did see that they serve Boars Head meats for their deli side, as well as some of their own aged meats. Walking in, it's all done up very nicely. You are immediately met by the hostess at entry. Here we learned that they do take reservations. We arrived around 1600 time frame and it wasn't busy, so we did get seated quickly. So, we learned they take reservations, which when we heard that at the hostess counter, we immediately knew this wasn't going to be a standard priced steak house. When we sat down and saw the menus, it was confirmed. Sticker shock is putting it lightly. We've had $50 steaks that didn't taste any different than going to Golden Coral where they can be $20 or less. The steaks on average are $100, give or take. Now, in fairness, add to the cost that they have some specialized meats AND they are aged, I understand the higher prices. Tho it was still an eye opener at first. Despite the prices, we stayed because we wanted to experience the dry aged meats and see why they cost so much, more to the point, to see what the cost to taste ratio was. Allow me to say that we were extremely surprised and absolutely not disappointed. To start we arrived at the back end of the lunch period. Tho we were given the dinner menu. I believe we arrived just before 1600, so that makes sense. We ordered water and the Rosemary bread to start. When our waitress returned, her name was Depp, a very wonderful woman, she had the dinner chef's type of jacket on, rather than the lunch apron. At this point we learned that they have a Brunch menu, a Lunch menu, and then a Dinner menu. The rosemary bread with sea salt came out and we ordered drinks. The rosemary bread was amazing! The rosemary on top was fresh and didn't taste like it was out of a jar that was dried months ago. It was super soft and a lot larger than either of us expected. $12 for the bread, and it was worth every penny. It comes with three butter flavors, Sea Salt, German Mustard, and Maple. The German mustard has horse radish seeds or something that makes it zesty. I really liked it. The maple was too sweet for me, but my wife said it reminded her of honey butter. The sea salt one was decent, the butter was whipped and didn't have a hard butter taste, but the sea salt added to the taste. It was wicked good. My wife had a drink called the French Diplomat. Very cucumber flavored. Very good. We had the Bone In Ribeye and the Prime Rib. Both were very, very good. Now, the Ribeye is dry aged 28 days, the Rib Eye is not. Ribeye, 22 oz, $75, was seasoned with just salt and pepper, it was charred perfectly and still very much pink on the inside. It was so soft you could almost cut it with a fork only. It was very soft and juicy, so juicy I'd suck the juices out of the meat because it was so good. The Prime Rib, 16 oz, $71, larger than expected, soft enough for a fork, and lot so Au Jus. We learned that their Au Jus is made in house from the trimmings from the aged steaks, made into their own tallow, than made as the Au Jus. It was really good. The Yorkshire pudding that comes with it was new to use, as it's not a pudding, it's a bread that soaks up the Au Jus, thus, I guess, resembling pudding softness. It was a nice touch, it tasted good, tho was not really for me. Now, the rub here, is the steak plates listed are just for the steaks. Sides are Ala carte and not included. This is a first for us, a different experience for sure. The Potato Au Gratin was recommended, my wife loved it, it was ok with it. Didn't have the harder potato flavor that I like, and the cheese, tho real cheese and not some sauce that's added, didn't have a sharp taste to it. It was slightly bland for me. The Brussel Sprouts, this was absolutely amazing! Full of flavor and the garlic chili sauce that was on top, top notch, it was a mouthwash! This I will definitely get again. Grilled, slightly charred, with bacon and red pepper, it was great! A fun thing, they put your food in boxes for you, a nice touch at the end of a fantastic dinner, and they hang it on a rack.

Today I drove out to Springtown to pickup as I got a smaller box and didn't want to pay the delivery fee. Possibly a mistake as I picked up some tabiltas, tri tip, and pichana just to top things off. I love the tallow products especially the vanilla bean scented tallow cream. I ordered tallow and it arrived within a few days. I then decided to place an order for beef and that's where it went wrong. After about a week I had not yet received a tracking number so I reached out via email and the response was quick saying that my order had shipped and they shared a link. The link took me to my order but there still wasn't a tracking number, so I decided to call. I was told my order had not been shipped and that they were running behind because of all the orders and having to close because of storm (valid reason). I was also told my order would likely go out by end of week or the following Monday at latest and that didn't happen. I needed this meat for an event I had planned, and ordered over two weeks ahead of time. I ultimately had to cancel my order because it still had not shipped out by end of day on Tuesday and it would not have reached me in time for event. My biggest complaint is the lack of shipping delay updates and confusion between employees about shipping. I was looking forward to trying the meat and am disappointed that it didn't work out.

We were very warmly greeted by a gentleman who I think must be an owner or major stakeholder. He gave us a quick history of the place and was fast to recommend the prime rib po boy sandwich. We ordered one to split, and it came with seasoned fries. The sandwich came out quickly, and the meat was tender with just the right amount of slightly spicy horseradish sauce. Yum. I definitely want to come back for the signature prime rib on a Friday or Saturday. That meatloaf sounds tempting too, and the brisket mac and cheese caught my eye. Looks like I will need to come back a few times.

Maybe it was because we were looking forward to brisket tacos & chicken & waffles. We had great service from Nathan! We grabbed some meat to bring home. My family and I have been eating at the butcher shop for a little over a year, pretty much weekly. It's our go to spot. We take our friends and family here anytime we want to treat them to a tasty meal! I have tried most of the items on the menu and truly have never been disappointed. For the longest time, the burger was my go to choice and the patty melt was my husband's go to. Both delicious! But our absolute favorite meal here lately is the brisket sandwich, a Thursday special, and I hate to even share this because I don't want them to sell out of it before we make it there on Thursday nights. It is SO tasty. The brisket is nice and juicy, and the sourdough bun makes for the perfect combination. You can't go wrong with the side you choose - French fries delicious, onion rings delicious, chips - you guessed it, also delicious. Kids meals - the grilled cheese is good, the chicken tenders are top notch. My husband and I often steal a bite of our kids' chicken fingers and every single time we say, "man these are good". Other meals I have tried that are delicious- chicken salad sandwich, hot ham and cheese, beef stew (so good!!!). Appetizers - Texas toothpicks are a must! And if talking about how good their food is wasn't enough to make you plan your next meal here... the staff are so incredibly kind. We love them! My husband and I truly love this restaurant and love everything we've tried. Try it out, but don't eat all the brisket!!
