I am literally about 10 minutes away from this store! I feel like calling it a supermarket like a real super market! This past Friday was my first time going inside and let's just say it won't be my last time. I didn't even go through this whole store. I had my mind on getting some tacos which I did. I got two Carne Asada tacos, super fresh and super delicious and great portions as well. I got a green apple slushy drink to wash it down. I was super impressed on how the store was laid out. They have a Juice Bar. They have a bakery. I need to go back again to explore, but I'm definitely going back for their tacos. They do have a sitting area if you choose to eat the food there I should've just did that because I literally ate my tacos in the car. I didn't even make it home. I wanna try out their Juice Bar. I noticed several cakes with moldy strawberries and told two checker girls. They both acknowledged the problem with a disinterested apathy and did nothing. The next day, the moldy cakes were still sitting on the shelf. She grabs something from his pile and he says 'that is separate,' twice and she still scans it. I say that the meat was separate to her too. I've been to various supermercados in the Sacramento area and this is my favorite one. The place always seems to be very clean. I've never had the taqueria so I can't vouch for that. What I can say is that the tamales de elote are amazing! Now that the weather is heating up and the BBQ's are coming out, this is my go to for meats. While it does seem kind of costly, I like their quality better than other carniceras. Their arrancherra will set you back about $8 a pound, but it's tender and not tough like other places I've tried. They also carry seafood, poultry and specialty items like tongue and pata. Aside from the meat counter it's a typical grocery store but with a little more emphasis on Hispanic items, especially the candy. And they do have cases with pan dulce, which is nice, especially since Esperanza's gets packed. It does have a restaurant inside as well. The three stars is for produce, it sucks. Bought pineapples and they were spoiled. Limes were drier than the Sahara, my strawberries spoiled the next day and I was going to buy some onions until I realized half the bin was rotten. And it's been said before, the ladies at the registers can be rude, especially if they think you don't speak Spanish. read more

They just opened a new section on the side of the store, the food is amazing and they have all kids of Mexican food. The tortas are my favorite and the corn on the cup! First time at this store! Been driving past this store for years and finally stopped by because I was craving some mexican ice cream :) Lol, didn't know this place closes at 8:30pm. Got here at 8:35pm, but was still able to go in :D Took a quick stroll before we grabbed ice cream (it's at the front next to the register)! This place is not too clean, but it's a big store and quite organized and colorful inside with a nice mural at the front wall! They sell veggies, fruits, canned goods, salsa, and the usual stuff that all supermarket sells plus some yummy and interesting mexican goodies like their bread/baked goodies, meats, tamales and more. Items here are pretty cheap too! I noticed there's a taqueria inside near the front and I will be back to try their tacos, burritos, or something :D There's also a Bank of America ATM inside, so that's cool. This place accepts cash, card, and EBT :) Parking lot is big too! Just remember this place closes at 8:30pm! Great place to pick up any of those mexican ingredients/groceries you need! I discovered this place in Yelp but I didn't pay attention to the reviews I went and I found it really interesting because it had a lot of products from my country in which the Mexican store by my house name superior didn't right. So I made this my yo go store even tho it's far away from my house but lately their products and meats are very very low quality specially the meats I noticed that they put food coloring or something to make the meat look fresh that's a no for me so disappointed and disgusting.
