The name on the outside is Tavos. The last time we ate her, it was pretty good. The Tea is watered down. We ordered a small Bean dip & it was the size of cheese. The Steak was good. The Nachos Supremos was small with chips, beans, meat, Lil bit of cheese & small dallop of sour cream & 1/2 slice of tomato slice & lettuce. It was small. They suck there. the service sucks. Me and my friend went there the other day to eat and we got told noone was there to serve us there was two waitresses there. The owner had to come serve us. the two girls names that were there that refused our service is Abby Conway and Haley Hutson. They are the rudest girls ever. Very childish too!That place will never be good if the two girls are still there. The food had a roach in it and it was cold. No refills either nor did they check on us. i could say more. read more

Called 4 times and each time was "one minute please" no put on hold, just left with background noise and eventually hung up 4 different times. Got our food, and where is the rest of it? half way filled. looks like it was just thrown in there. Highly disappointed and won't be coming back. read more

We were here for a late lunch about 130PM, on a Friday there were only four other customers here besides us. Chips and salsa were delivered and the salsa was all tomatoes and bland. We ordered a chicken Chimichanga and chicken Fajitas. The waitress wrote our order on her hand, - not a good sign. I did not get a chimichanga that I ordered, i got a small regular chicken burrito - not fried- covered in cheese sauce along with rice and beans- it was all kind of bland with no flavor or spice. I did not send it back as I did not want an additional wait and I was hungry. The fajitas were a bit better there was much grilled chicken but slim on the peppers and onions. Mi Pueblito is a small, no frills, cheap Mexican cafe located on the outskirts of Linden. It's something of a local institution, and by and large you can get decent food for an extremely low price here. It's not fancy, and the food isn't much better than you can get at most Mexican inspired fast casual chain joints, but it's cheap and decently good. The meats are usually well marinated and not over cooked, but you have to order the guacamole especial to avoid getting canned guacamole dip. Little things like this prevent it from getting higher than three stars. read more

Have been coming here for 2+ years and the food has always been great! Some of the best Mexican I've had in TN! But tonight, the service was terrible. The server, a high school student, informed us that "this job sucks, and I hate it". Interesting. She readily admitted that she didn't know the menu, and when they were out of something for my husbands dish, she came and told us, but she didn't know the name of what they didn't have, and she didn't know what it was. Helpful. My husband had to ask for a menu to select something else. He is allergic to tomatoes, explained that, and still received tomatoes. When my dish arrived, I asked for the cheese that comes with my meal (that I have ordered multiple times) and she argued with me that it didn't come with my meal, and said she could check the menu. Shocker, it comes with cheese. Food rates 5 stars, service is usually a 4/5, but tonight the service was a 1. Where did my regular server go? She wasn't there tonight. Sorry for the low tip, but tips are earned, and you did not earn what we left you. You told us you hate this job, served food that you were told someone was allergic to, and argued with a customer. Being an adult is doing your job well and taking pride in it even if you hate it and it sucks, we've all been there. Please learn from this. Will be back for the food, hopefully the service will be back to normal. read more

We stopped at this place on the way home from Canoeing on the Buffalo. Party of 6 on a Saturday evening around 5:45 no problem, We were seated almost immediately. shortly after our waitress came over and took our drink order, 2 people ordered margaritas and I a beer. The waitress came back with the beer and said she asked the manager and they do not serve margaritas. She brought the rest of the drinks and then took our orders. When our food finally arrived being rolled out on a cart that looked like the bus boy had just busses the last table on, she gave 4 of the 6 their food, when 2 orders were wrong, she said there's a lot of tickets in the kitchen and they're getting backed up. There were only 4 other tables in the restaurant. I asked for some rice and more chips...she walked off not saying a word even to the other 2 people. . We assumed she was goin to get the rest of the food. about 10-15 min later she came to the table and told the 2 without food that their orders didn't get put in. So what did they order again? Never apologized just said I'll put it in. After waiting all this time and never getting more drink refills, chips, our orders right or anything else we'd asked for they decided they didn't want to wait any longer. One of them went up front and tried to asked if they started their order yet and they hadn't so they told them they didn't even want the food now. She Sydney wouldn't come back to our table, not even to even bring the check.!! She was taking another tables order across the restaurant, we got her attention and asked for our checks. She sent the bust boy over with them. When we went to pay the girl didn't say a word, and I asked do you want to know how our food was?? She looked at me and said Im not the manager, I'm the assistant she will be here tomorrow. So pretty much we had horrible service=no one there cares! read more
