We were super pleased with Zimmerman and are hiring them for more work this fall. 1. The design was just what we needed: simple, beautiful, low maintenance! 2. The price was great; very fair! 3. Jim was courteous, prompt and professional; great customer service! 4. Gave us great additional advice about what to do around the property, eg dead trees that needed removal. 5. The work they did last fall looks fantastic a year later; filling in nicely. Nothing died. Everything looks happy and healthy and neat but not overdone. I'm thrilled and proud of our pretty garden! Thanks, Zimmermans! Highly recommend!

I opted for their lavender honey and it is out of this world delicious - a little pricey, but I don't mind that when supporting local family-owned businesses. We only stayed about 15 minutes but there are some picnic tables near the barn if you want to hang around longer.

At first we did nothing, but that turned up a dreadful result and since we live in a neighborhood we figured we had to do something, so we went here. Our lawn is now one of the best on the block and we never have those yucky pesticides do not touch signs.

At a time when I was feeling my saddest, I experienced the most empathetic and genuinely kind…read moreexperience at this nursery. I stopped by the nursery because my beloved dog passed away and I wanted to plant a tree in his honor. What I didn't expect was to get the most compassionate and honest costumer service that I have ever experienced. I went in with an idea in my head but really needed some help picking the right one that would do the best. I just knew I wanted something that would stand out and last for a long time. The owner came to help me right away and asked me what I was looking for and when I told him why I was getting the tree he immediately stopped and offered me his condolences, his understanding, and more kindness than I could have expected. *He offered me a flower and I began to cry, he told me that I could just walk behind him as we looked so that I could cry and still feel comfortable- that's beyond customer service, that is a truly kind soul. * We took our time looking at the options and he gave me honest recommendations. Finally we found the perfect one- a white pine tree that was not even a fraction of the cost of the one I had originally thought I wanted. He could have easily just sold me on the expensive one I had in mind originally but he didn't. He cared more about me, the tree, and my experience than he did about making the sale. I wish I could express how much that experience means to me. It gave me so much comfort and I left feeling so grateful for the warmness they shared so generously with me, a stranger, and left with one of the first smiles I had in days. I met the other owner briefly as I checked out and felt the love just pouring from her too. I couldn't recommend them more. The experience you get from a local owned business is unmatched in its humanity. I promise, you will never want to buy from anywhere else again. Lastly, I want to say thank you to the owners who took time out of their day to lift up a stranger who had no idea how much she needed it. I appreciate you with all my heart. Thank you.

The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were generous enough to make for a satisfying meal. What impressed me most, though, was the service. The folks running Lake Bowls couldn't have been nicer. They were welcoming, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic--not just about their own truck, but about the other vendors as well. I appreciated how they promoted the neighboring food trucks and helped create a great overall experience. Menus on Main itself is a terrific concept. Located on the quieter end of Main Street, it offers plenty of parking, lots of shaded outdoor seating, and live music throughout the season. It's a great setting to spend an afternoon or evening.
