I was desperate to find a therapist which was almost impossible during the pandemic. I had called several places and no one was calling me back. Lisa called me back the same day, did a quick assessment of my needs and then connected me with a provider. They have always been flexible with me and offered me a sliding scale when I lost my job and insurance. read more

We offer life coaching, long-term psychotherapy as well as short-term, evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Problem Solving Therapy. In addition to individual therapy, we offer family and couples therapy as we believe that, often, one must take a systems approach for the individual to improve.

I wanted to begin a practice focused on truly helping people to get better and overcome the obstacles holding them back from living as authentically as possible.

Meet the Business Owner: Diana G.

Diana M Gonzales-Ricard, LCSW, MSW, BS is a bilingual, Latino psychotherapist with 15 years' experience in outpatient mental health as well as providing home care to geriatric and medically frail individuals. She does not believe depression and isolation are a normal and acceptable part of aging. In addition, she has worked with at-risk youth in a clinical setting and the developmentally delayed both in home and clinical settings. Diana is licensed to practice in NYS. She has extensive knowledge of case management, community resources and end of life needs and planning.

Phone calls and texts are quickly returned and everyone is always helpful and courteous. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or participate in any of their programs and workshops. The offices are on the second floor and there is no elevator, so it's good to keep that in mind if climbing stairs is an issue, otherwise, there is plenty of parking and the location is easily accessible.
