I went to James for help with getting a 54 year old photo, that has seen better days and survived two floods, restored an enhanced and bring new life to it. He looked at the photo and explained that due to its extensive damage, it might not come out as I expect. He then went step by step through what he would do as far as brightening it up and putting it through filters. Most of the faces in the photo were only half legible, so I didn't give my hopes up. When I tell you this man performed a miracle, believe me when I say that I teared up when I saw it. My grandmother, who passed away when my mother was only 11 years old, was given new breath and looked absolutely stunning and I could finally see what my family always talked about her being a natural beauty. My grandfather, who passed a few years ago, looked so young and lively and my mom and uncle were legible and I could see their young faces smiling. I didn't expect a whole lot as far as the photo restoration and enhancement, but James exceeded all expectations, including his own. His fee was very reasonable and he gave me an extra print of the photo. If anyone needs professional photos done or photo enhancement, James Ferry is the man for you. I'm still in awe of how amazing this photo turned out and I can't thank him enough. Not only did his work prove to be impeccable, but he's also a naturally friendly guy and a pleasure to talk with. If you're on the fence about choosing him, I hope this review settles your reservations. He is worth every penny and worth the wait time for the photos (which still wasn't long. It took him 3 weeks to get my photo in pristine condition). He is a master at his craft.

She is definitely experienced in working with children and it showed. She did not get frustrated nor was she bothered when we needed to stop multiple times to feed and then change him. She worked with us/him and managed to get some great photos! We are very happy with her work and I am so grateful for her patience that day. The pricing is also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend using Noize photography!

She put my husband and I at ease (as well as our twin girls!!) during our photo session. Our twins were 5 months old, and even tho that typically isn't an age group she works with the photos we received from her were truly jaw dropping and brought tears to our eyes. Every single photo was absolutely stunning and timeless. I was initially attracted to Liz's work primarily because of how she lets her subjects shine on their own with clean, simple, natural, airy and flowy vibes. i didn't like all the staged looks and props that other photographers were using . She truly is an amazing artist and she is worth EVERY penny!!!! I cannot recommend her enough. She is the best!!!!

My fiance and I had only two requirements for our engagement photos, that our dog Misha be included and that we wanted to use the gorgeous backdrop of Old Town Alexandria in our photos. Susannah went above and beyond our expectations, and made us more photogenic than we realized. The pictures we chose are now my current favorite photos of the three of us. Susannah is so flexible, easy going and so organized that the whole process was truly enjoyable. She had a consultation with us before the shoot to discuss the numerous details I didn't even realize went into a photo shoot, including offering her opinion on our outfit choices. As part of the photo session hair and makeup was included, which was fantastic having a professional tame my curls. I was truly impressed with all the details that Susannah included to make the entire process less stressful and it was like I was going on a photo shoot with my best friend instead of a stranger that I had just met. Susannah even got Misha to smile. :) What really put Alumbra into the 5 star range was not just the excellent service and overall quality of the photos but the fact that Susannah sent us three gift prints with a handwritten thank you a couple weeks after we ordered our photos. Thanks Susannah!

He took the time to get to know us before our wedding, made us feel comfortable, and brought out the best in everyone he filmed. His presence added so much fun to our wedding day, and he captured it all beautifully. What makes Allan so special is the care and time he puts into his work. Fourteen years later, our wedding video is one of our most treasured possessions. Some of the people we celebrated with that day have since passed, and having those memories preserved is an incredible gift. Allan told us how important it would be to have our loved ones on video, and he was absolutely right. We knew he had posted a clip from our wedding on YouTube, but I only recently saw that it has nearly 54,000 views. That says a lot about how well he captures genuine (and funny!) moments that connect with people. Words can't express my gratitude for how Allan treated me and my husband, the positive energy he brought to our wedding, and his outstanding final product. He is a truly unique and talented person, and you are blessed if you get to work with and know him. If you're considering hiring him for any event, don't hesitate - you'll be so glad that you did.
