I used to play in the old, abandoned brewery as a child. I remember what it looked like back then…read moreand trust me.....it's fantastic now! LOTS of work was done and now, it's an awesome place to go!! The food is excellent ALL the time. I've never been disappointed when leaving there. The staff is very attentive and the environment is cozy and comfortable.

I've never seen a margarita put in a glass that is intended for whiskey so that was the first I had sweet tea, but it wasn't sweet at all. We ordered our supper at 6:52 PM. I called the waitress over at 7:45 she said they were backed up in the kitchen. I don't believe this was true. Everyone around us had their food except us. I believe she didn't get the order in or they lost the ticket when the meal came at around 8 o'clock. The baked potato would not melt butter. You could hold it in your hand. It was cold. I ordered grilled fish. I got fried fish. My girlfriend had chicken fried steak. It's actually chicken fried chicken she had mashed potatoes. They reminded us both of when we were in high school. We get those potatoes that you're not quite sure they're potatoes. I called the waitress over. I told her about my meal. She said she'd have them remake it. I said no thank you she said she'd take it off the bill. It's not about money. I can afford to eat wherever I want. She didn't offer to do anything else and I believe us having to wait almost an hour for our food was really ridiculous. Needless to say I'll have second thoughts if I ever decide to eat there again.

Our tour guide was Avery and he was fantastic! From the middle that we stepped out to take a picture in front of the cave until we exited through the gift shop. It was a great experience. We walked through places in the cave that were noted in the adventures of Tom Sawyer, and through the cave history, including the thousands of signatures in the cave. We also participated in 15 through a pay dirt bag. This space is grade for all ages, and they have ample souvenirs. In the gift shop. We even visited the winery across the street. We look forward to potentially camping there in the future.

A Deeply Confusing but Amazing Adventure…read more We took a trip to Mark Twain Caves in Hannibal, Missouri, and honestly it was an experience I'll never forget. Our tour guide Grace was awesome and somehow managed to keep a bunch of people entertained while walking around underground surrounded by a ridiculous amount of slag tight and my tights. The caves had a ton of Lycan, moss, and random lightbulbs everywhere, which really added to the atmosphere. The weird dead lady hanging from the ceiling was a little creepy, but I guess every good cave tour needs something that makes you question your life choices. The only complaint I have is the amount of "rock and a hard place" jokes. I think we heard enough of those to fill another cave. Also, I may have spent a small fortune in the gift shop on toys and the quarter machine, but that's what happens when you bring kids and have zero self-control. Grace even let me bring food into the caves, which sounded like a great idea at the time. Unfortunately, I only brought a bowl of soup. It was dark, I spilled it all down the front of me, then slipped on it and smacked my head on the headache rock (which I do believe I have a concussion now). Not exactly the lunch break I imagined. All jokes aside, it was a great trip. Grace was a fantastic tour guide, made everyone laugh, and did an amazing job showing us around. The caves were cool, the stories were fun, and the memories were worth it. Love Grace Love Cody
