Not sure about the other dishes on the menu but will not get Fish Supreme Tacos ever again. Regardless, service was quick and nice. Bill came out fast and did not have to wait for it.

I ordered tortilla chips the worker asked if I wanted cheese and I said sure. I also ordered the flaunts lunch special. It was a 8 until this visit. I got cheese put on the tortilla chips. Which made them soggy but I couldn't enjoy them because their from scratch tortillas chips were stale. The flaunts were presented beautifully but had left over chicken and it tasted leftover. I placed my order at 2:47 and was told 15 minutes at 2:53 they're calling me while I am 2 blocks away letting me know that my order was ready. Strange yes but I am new. I get my food and go to the park to enjoy and guess what the food was Disgusting and I had no silverware or napkins. You got time to call me to pick up my order, but not give me silverware or napkins. It took everything in me not to drop the food back off and ask for my tip back. I honestly can't say I would try this restaurant again.

I grew up in SW Detroit surrounded by great Mexican restaurants and neighbors who made wonderful…read moreMexican dishes. So, I'm somewhat particular about the Mexican restaurants I eat at. This place definitely makes the cut. The service is good and they are attentive to your needs. The food is fresh and full of flavor. One thing that I always check when we're in a Mexican restaurant is the hot sauce they give with the chips. Unfortunately, I've been in some Mexican restaurants where hot sauce is not given. To me, that's a must have. Nonetheless, their hot sauce has a nice punch to it without being overwhelming. The only knock I would have is that the chips they serve are bland. However, that's not a deal breaker for me. After all, I come here for the entrées, not the chips. My wife and I both had the Taco Dinner with deep fried flour tortillas. Seriously, if you've never had tacos like this before than you are missing out! The shells were fried to perfection without being greasy. The meat and other ingredients were tasty and fresh. The beans and rice were very tasty as well. The tacos are huge and as I was making my way through my second one they were still nice and hot. If you find yourself in Wyandotte and looking for good Mexican food then you owe it to your belly to stop in here.

The 2 guys at the restaurant where sooooo nice I felt bad because it was so hot in there though for them to be in there cooking all day has to be killer. However later that night I was so sick and couldn't keep anything down and was in the bathroom all night and the night day . The day I had the tacos i only ate the tacos and a scoop of mango Gelato ice cream.

But I tried the chicken enchiladas and the lunch taco trio with two pastor and one asada. I would recommend the pastor since the cut of beef for asada seemed like ground beef I make at home. Overall the flavor is pretty good at La Salsa but I've had very good Mexican food so it takes a bit to really impress me. The rice and beans are good sides to take home and I can still get 1-2 meals out of them by adding my own cooking to it. It's not overly greasy or salty which is something I always appreciate. The protein portions could be improved by at least .5x. The ladies are always very nice and overall it's a cute small business.

Small counter space by the restaurant. The restaurant has no seating. Space enough for maybe 2-4 people while you order your food at the counter. I noticed folks sitting in their cars waiting for their name to be called out. 2 Chicken, 2 steak tacos, 4 chicken tacos, California chicken burrito, chicken and asada quesadillas, side of chips and guacamole. $50.25. The guacamole doesn't look so good, the container wasn't fully closed (later found out after opening it at the office) and it turned brown on the drive back to the office. Was told at checkout that I would get salsa, but it is only the salsa verde, not my favorite. The chicken tacos look anemic. The tacos look so very sad and the cilantro looks old and brown as well. I ate a few pieces of chicken off, it rather bland. I was hoping for some red salsa, but only had the salsa verde. The guacamole was bland as well, added some of the salsa verde, still insufficient flavor for me. Rather lack luster street tacos at the stand. Doubt I will return to eat again.

This is a take-out only location, though there are a few outdoor seats OR you can park in your car and do car-meal. Their tacos are great, their quesadillas are great (though ask for well-done if you want them to be crispy at all), I love their bowls. I don't have anything bad to say about the food; it's all delicious. The steak, pork, chicken, chorizo is all flavorful and high-quality. I LOVE the red salsa and medium-spicy green crema they give with each meal. The chips & restaurant salsa are an absolute must, too! Only qualm I have is they sometimes forget items I've ordered. I've asked for items on the site for them to not be included, like sliced avocados, which is a bummer. Sometimes we don't get plasticware or limes or napkins. That's the only issue, so be sure to double-check for the extras before you leave to enjoy your delicious meal.

Chips and salsa is good. Chips are super crunchy, not a lot for the first basket. The booth tables are affixed with some stickers for some Mexican theme decor. The chicken quesadilla is super cheesy, decent amount of chicken, it's not bad. The Mexican style chicken tacos were so-so, the meat was rather dry. The chicken tostadas were okay. Lots of bean and cheese. Had a good amount of shredded chicken on it. The churros are good, maybe a tad over fried on the ends. The caramel is good, but was mostly at the ends of the churros only. Rest of the churro was empty. Still good churros overall. Service was okay, although we did have to ask for more chips and hot salsa. They cannot grill the Jalapeños since the griddle is communal. Can't clean the spicy Jalapeño off the grill in between orders.
