This location has upstairs seating and some seating downstairs, but for some reason they had their doors and windows open on a rather hot day. It was close to 30 celsius with minimal cloud cover. I am not sure why they did that. This place is good for a pretty quick bite to eat and you can rest assured things here are clean and well made.

I must say first and foremost: McDonald's is better in Europe. Simply because more healthier options like vegan options, better desserts and expanded menu (like offering chicken wings or soup). The thing that makes us place special is that once you walk inside, you are greeted by an atmosphere of crystal chandeliers, Bronze decor. Pregar is definitely a small restaurant with only 8 tables inside and 4 tables outside. Their menu was separated by language and our waitress opened it on the English menu. My wife just had soup and I ordered the Serra (Portuguese steak with cheese) on a roll. The price was just for the burger and so I added the fries which came on a dipping side (they had sweet chili, horse radish mayo, ketchup) just to name a few. We actually had the sweet chili and later the horse radish mayo to try. So the steak sandwich I had was Medium (they ask how you want it cooked and went with how the Portuguese like their steaks.) It was a simple no frills sandwich. Just steak. Melted cheese on a roll. The bread was soft and complimented the meat in a 1-1 ratio which I like. Sometimes with a burger, you have more bread with a small burger in the middle. The Serra was 12 euro and thought that was a fair price for a steak sandwich. Overall, I'd give the Serra 4 stars. Service was wonderful and our waitress was attentive and helpful with her suggestions on the steak sandwich to go with. 5 stars. Overall, it was a great lunch and we enjoyed being one of the first ones to dine that day. By the time we were about to finish, more patrons were coming in to eat.
