I had minor surgery here about a year ago. Every one there was incredibly nice and helpful. I…read morearrived when they told me to and was immediately taken in to the triage area. The nurses set me up in a bed and started taking my vitals etc., I was freezing so they gave me a huge stack of blankets and thick socks to wear. It seemed like I was waiting forever but they did take me away right at my scheduled surgery time. When they took me to the surgery area, they wheeled me right next to a guy who was obviously coming out of his surgery. I couldn't help but imagine them doing this to ME and leaving me right out in the open unconscious and that made me quite anxious. I was sitting next to him for awhile while I waited for the anesthesiologist to come. Finally he came and it was LIGHTS OUT ELLEN. I can only assume they didn't leave me out in a hallway somewhere, b/c when I woke up I was breathing in nice cold air from my oxygen mask and I was in a private recovery room. Bonus, a nice nurse was patting my arm and hair. I was scared so as soon as I was awake and alert, they took me to my Mom. The hospital is a bit dated, but the employees are all super nice. I felt confident and comfortable the entire time I was there. Minus one star for the billing dept, they screwed up my Insurance info, so I got a HUGE bill, but they quickly took care of it once I called them.

genuinely horrible. my right to receive mail wasn't respected for no reason, human rights officer…read moresaid he would look into it and then never addressed it again. I was drawing in a public room with two staff in the room when they started talking about how they both knew this girl and one of the staff had sex with her, meanwhile im a victim of sexual assault , and a minor. care was horrible. I was left in my room crying/ having panic attacks often, with no one checking in on me. I was told by the social worker Alfonso he couldn't help me b/c he was off the clock, and he was frustrated. my sink didn't work, my room felt like it was a refrigerator, and there was constant screaming from other patients when I have PTSD with loud noises. staff hardly ever deescalated situations, making patients even more mad, and at only point I witnessed a fight between a patient and staff because a patient was mad and staff instigated it by being rude back. Rather than treating me for PTSD, this place made it so much worse. Anything that even remotely reminds me of here sends me into panic mode. I cannot stress this enough, do not go here. Just about any other option is better, and especially for minors, this place only leads to worse anxiety and depression. My treatment team didn't even know what there were treating half the time, confusing me with other people, and would skip days and use random dates for my birth control, a very simple med to take everyday in order. At one point during my stay another patient started asking me to marry them, and would touch me without my consent (again, I'm a victim of SA so touch is hard for me), and staff would often see this, and how uncomfortable I was, and not do anything. The only saving grace was the occupational therapist Caroline, she is amazing, super sweet, very attentive. Doctor Richard, the school teacher on the unit, was also great. I learned so much, he's a super sweet man, and he looked after my needs (like stress, hunger, and dehydration) more then the nurses and counselors did and that's not even his job. Sharon, one of the counselor, was pretty good though. She was someone I can say definitely helped. When it came time for discharge Alfonso sent my parents ANOTHER mental hospital I would have to stay at just like this one when I was recovering, fully functional, communicative, and ready to return to school after suffering trauma. He did this without me knowing, and told me that the plan was going to be outpatient afterschool hours with me back home while I finish long term healing. Luckily I have parents who respected my autonomy to decide to go home, otherwise I would be in a cycle of more and more hospitals, when I was NEVER a danger to myself or others, only traumatized and needing to heal. I cannot express this enough, Alfonso has ZERO care in the world about the kids he treats, and shouldn't be in this line of work. To be a social worker you need to care, Alfonso didnt even know what I was being treated for half the time, and was going to go against my wishes and what he told me to put me in a different hospital when I was already healing fast, and not a threat to anyone at all. Metrowest medical center- if you're reading this- genuinely fire Alfonso. This place didn't respect my rights as a patient, worsened my PTSD, and was just a horrible environment no one deserves to experience. dont come here. And Alfonso i really hope you can one day learn not to size up victims of assult as "crazy teens" who you exclude from communication about their own treatment.

I went to AFC Natick as quickly as I could but I still only got there seven minutes before they closed at 5pm. Natick was about to close and lock the doors but they let me in and took care of me ! Thank you Aline for staying late to take care of me

In general, I have found the medical staff at AFC Natick to be kind, thoughtful, and efficient…read moreevery time I've used their services. However, their billing service is, I think, not very capable. I'm still trying to piece through what exactly happened, but here's what I've gathered so far: it seems like AFC Natick changed billing services sometime between late 2021 and early 2022. A visit I'd made in late 2021 seems to have gotten incorrectly submitted to insurance and they never got paid. We ended up sorting it out online in the start of 2022. In the spring of 2022, their billing service sent the (already paid) bill to a debt collection agency. Since then, we've been back and forth trying to get the billing service to correct their records: by phone (AFC Natick refers you to the old billing service, which refers you on to the new billing service. Still.), they say to pay online (doesn't work) or to email customer service (no response). I just had to throw an absolute tantrum over the phone to get the billing service to even confirm in writing (by finally responding to the email thread) where we were in this process. Still not resolved. So... I'd say involving a debt collection agency and months of phone calls and e-mails for a $150 bill that has already been paid is too steep a price for a couple of stitches. Maybe try somewhere else. I know I will.

Where do I begin? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE having my NEWBORN Baby!!! It was my first one and was…read morehorrible. My OB that went through at Boston OB was awful too. She didn't deliver my son, she didn't check on me after I had him until the day we got to leave the hospital! She did not detect that I was a high risk pregnancy(even though I told her ALL of my symptoms) and then I find out the hard way that I have preeclampsia (which can be detected in my urine) which leads to all sorts of complications and possible very serious birth defects. Then, when I get to the hospital having insane contractions, I have all these "students" Doogie Howser wannabe doctors (that I don't remember giving the okay to being there) and they kept asking me the same questions over and over again!!! My name, address, if I had a history of this and that over and over again while I was in excruciating pain and could barely talk!!! The nurse that help deliver my son was awesome and some of the others but the nurse I had to deal with the most was the worst! She was very rude and scolded me about how I was breastfeeding and not doing it right!!! Well maybe she should do her job right? Like, maybe when you act on top of the world and you're checking my sons and I vitals 50 times a day, you might've noticed while he was sleeping he had low oxygen levels?!?! Maybe then when I made plans to go home after 4 days of being there with her stank ass...I would've been able to take my son home! Because she wasn't doing her job(in my opinion) we don't know he had to be put into the baby NICU!!!!!!! (On our take home day) My son is big and healthy NOW but has to have an eye surgery (maybe caused by the preeclampsia) but there is no proof. My symptoms were so bad I could barely stand up or walk during pregnancy and was forced to have a c-section(because he was breech) then my c-section scar felt Infected so I called the hospital and told them how sore and infected it looked and they had me send pics instead of come in! They acted like it was all normal until it started oozing!!! Yea, pretty gross I know. Hurt like crazy took forever to heal and I couldn't even wear pants without pain. Besides my handsome, perfect, smart and adorable son being born...was hands down the worst experience of my life!!! Should've stayed at South Shore hospital like everybody told me and stayed with my original OB at crown colony in Quincy! For, a big thing like child birth...you sort of want doctors that know what they're doing. Or better yet...even show up?! ‍‍‍
