The only problem was, we weren't sure what we could afford in the areas we wanted. We worked with another realtor before, who I can now say (after working with Rachel) was horrible. The places she showed us and the areas she recommended in our price range were NOT what we were looking for at all. She would send us listings, and if it there was something I wanted to see, she would just tell me to go to the open house. But with Rachel, Rachel took the time to get to know my husband and I, and she took the time to get to know what we were looking for. She sat down and talked to us, asked us things we didn't think about at the top of our heads. Questions such as what we had to have or what we could live without (i.e, 2 car garage, A/C, a pool etc. ) I never even thought of that because that of course would filter out homes that didn't fit our needs/wants. We let her know which areas we were interested in, and she expanded those to neighboring areas. She worked with us for months, and helped us realize what we can afford and what areas. We eventually modified our expectations and began finding places we were really interested in. She sent us listings often, and didn't just wait for us to reply. She constantly followed up with us, which made us up our game at looking at houses! And she came to each and every listing that we wanted to see with us, even if it was an open house and she didn't have to go. As it turns out, the home we bought was from an open house we viewed and I have no DOUBT in my mind that we got the house because we had Rachel, our realtor with us. The home we know own had a bit of a bidding war. Rachel helped us decide how we should approach the situation. She is a wealth of knowledge through her experiences. In the end, our offer was chosen, even thought I think someone bid a little more than us, and offered cash! Because of Rachel, we have our home. Usually, once the offer is accepted, the realtor takes a step back and the lending company steps in. The lending company we worked with was horrible. They weren't meeting our needs, and our banking and credit information was stolen because of their system was hacked! This happened while we were going through escrow, and it was horrible! We had to close bank accounts and credit cards, and this is NOT something you want to be doing in the middle of purchasing a home. The lenders also didn't seem sympathetic to what was going on with us. I called Rachel. I asked for her help. She stepped in and save the day. I honestly don't know what we would have done with out her. She is a gem. Even after we lived in our home for a few years, Rachel still makes herself available to us. We have asked her questions about the home and she goes the extra mile to find the answer. She also introduced us to our electrician...whom I love btw! Honestly, I believe it was a blessing that we found Rachel. I recommend her to anyone who will hear me rave about her.

We were ready to list it right when the COVID-19 hit in March 2020 and we were reluctant to list it due to the uncertainty. Ashley did a ton of research on the new COVID-19 disclosures and was able to convince me to list the property, and I'm glad I trusted her advice. They took fantastic pictures and built a great website to market the home. Once it was listed it sold in a week for the full asking price.
