Another trip from Paramus into Manhattan to the dentist, midtown, for two of us, this time. I didn't have to think twice about taking my car or hiring Metropro Limo, again! Eugene picked us up at 1 PM for 2 and 3 o'clock appointments. He was courteous and an excellent driver negotiating the many potholes both going and coming back. We finished BOTH appointments by 3: 05~! We were back home before 4! Given the stressful time we are living in this past year, it was a no brainer to use Metropro. This is the second time I have used Metropro and so glad I did. We had terrible weather flying in and were delayed and then diverted to Baltimore to wait. During our layover I contacted Metropro to let them know and Lori was already on top of things watching our flight status. Multiple times we were told we are ready to take off only to suspend take off. Metropro was always in contact and had to have different drivers waiting for us as time got pushed back until we finally arrived about 2am (originally scheduled for a 2:30pm arrival). We had a quiet ride from Newark Airport to NYC as it was 2am and I'm sure the driver was just as tired as us. I admittedly shook my head when I saw the scores of negative reviews for EVERY other car service in the NY/NJ area...so I gave the 5-star review a shot. Sent in a request for a quote and got an email back within minutes. Called to book and Joe was courteous and efficient. The service worked great. Literally the second I turned my phone on at Newark I had a text from our driver, Kashif, with our meeting place. Being the day before Thanksgiving, AND snowing, it was a complete zoo. Kashif had us picked up and on our way within 10 minutes of getting our bags off the carousel. Sharp, very professional, and a nice guy. Oh, and a sane driver! Don't plan on ever needing another car service in the NY/NJ area. Top notch and reasonably priced. (I never bother to review anything unless it's bad, but I had to make an exception for these guys. After reading the many positive reviews I requested a quote for a ride to the airport. It's been more than 24 hours now, and I've heard nothing! So I'm going back to Air Brook.. UPDATE: After this review posted I received an email from Metropro stating that my quote request was "overlooked" and a "mistake", It also included a quote which was about 20% higher than Air Brook (and I thought Air Brook was high!) I needed a reputable car service to take me from northern NJ to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in NYC for an operation. I checked out Yelp for car services and was pleasantly surprised to find glowing reviews for Metropro. I spoke to Joe, the owner, the day before my surgery and explained that I had to be on time and that I was in a lot of pain so the ride had to be smooth. Joe assured me this was entirely possible. Terry, the driver, showed up almost 15 minutes before the scheduled arrival time and called as well to confirm his arrival. He was professional, courteous and an excellent driver. He made the ride pleasurable and comfortable and we even arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule, despite the heavy traffic we encountered on the FDR Drive! After such a pleasant experience to the hospital, I knew I wanted to use Metropro again for the ride back home the next day. The hospital could not give me an exact discharge time, but I called Joe anyway and explained the situation. He was so understanding and said that I should call back when I was ready and he would make sure to accommodate me. Joe actually wound up coming himself to take me home!! We made it home quickly and Joe was an excellent driver. He made the ride so pleasant and smooth that I had no discomfort at all. My wife and I and another couple needed a ride to and from a wedding (Emerson to Woodland Park). This happened to be the closest limo company to my residence so I decided to give them a call. I liked the email confirmation with price breakdown right after hanging up. On the day of the wedding, the driver arrived 10 minutes early and waited out front. We were actually running a little late, but he never came up to ring the bell or rush us, which I appreciated. He had bottled spring water waiting for us and asked us all if we were comfortable with the temperature and leg room. On our way Route 80 looked backed up and he re-routed us to route 46 and saved us from being late (I know because a friend at our table missed the entire ceremony because they took 80). Pickup was scheduled for 12:30PM and we actually called to push it up to 12PM and that was not a problem either. All around a great job by Metro. Much better than most limo / taxi experiences I'm used to when living in Hoboken & Jersey City. read more

Julio was waiting outside on the top deck as we rolled our luggage there he was. The car and service were immaculate with an expert driver. Thanks to other Yelpers, I have finally found my go-to car service when visiting family in the NY/Rockland County area. Spoke with Joe at MetroPro Limo by phone several months in advance of my trip to discuss whether I should fly into JFK or Newark for a visit to Rockland Co. Joe suggested Newark, as it was closer and would therefore be less expensive, so I scheduled my flights accordingly. I then called Joe a few days prior to arrival and he was very thorough in obtaining all the necessary details for my round-trip car service needs. The price he quoted seemed reasonable and I liked that all fees (tax, tolls, tip) were included; makes it so much easier that way. Due to consistently disappointing experiences with another car company, I was very specific (and insistent) that I wanted a non-smoking driver (in addition to a non-smoking car). Joe and his team of drivers could not have been more accommodating, cordial or professional. Both drivers arrived on time (even a bit early - which I appreciate), were clean and well-dressed, drove safely, and overall were a pleasure to talk with along the way. I had an amazing experience with this car service. I was going between North Bergen and Brooklyn. My conversation on the phone with Joe was 10x more pleasant than any other place I called. He made a mistake on my conformation, so I called back and he had already sent me a new one in the short amount of time. I also needed a paper receipt so he printed me off on for the driver to give to me. They tell you how much it will be when you call them. Kashif the driver showed up a couple minutes early and was very sweet. The perfect amount of conversation. And turns out he's my neighbor!! Update: I've used this car service over 10 times and the service is consistently phenomenal. They always arrive early, drivers are communicative via txt and phone, especially when picking up at the airport, and are very professional. Cars are always comfortable (fresh water bottle every time) and generally newer. Prices are as good as i've seen for this level service and lower than other services i've used. Great value here. Very accommodating and professional, on short notice. I first called about one o'clock for a ride from northern New Jersey to downtown Manhattan. On a Friday. I didn't really have high hopes, but they were able to offer a slot at 3:30. I took us a while longer to settle on our plans, so I figured, when I called back almost an hour later, THAT window had closed. Not so! In fact, they dispatched Kashif on an emergency basis, and 45 minutes later, he arrived in a clean, new car and with the most pleasant disposition I could imagine. The ride was comfortable and quick, but never rushed. If a ride into Manhattan at rush hour on a Friday could ever be relaxing, this was it. I wrote a review for Metropro Limousine several months ago. At that time, I had booked several reservations for others. I just had the pleasure of visiting New York myself and wanted to add a few comments. We took a cruise, which ended up in Bayonne, New Jersey. I booked a car through Metropro to pick us up at the cruise ship terminal and drive us to a hotel in Times Square. The driver was early and thoroughly entertaining. His name was Kirk. I told him he should be a comedian on a cruise ship! He made the drive so much fun! We had a different driver pick us up at the hotel a few days later and take us to JFK Airport. He was also prompt and very good. Joe Careccio is an absolute professional, and I cannot compliment him enough. PLEASE, use this company for any car service needs in the New York area! Even though our flight was delayed by a few hours and then we were delayed deplaning due to a medical emergency aboard our flight, the team at Metropro tracked our arrival, kept communicating with us and met us at the curb within a few minutes of our having our baggage. We used them twice - once into the City and then to return to the airport a few days later. Both drivers - Chris and Garo - were very service oriented and a pleasure to ride with. My crew used it as a ride to go to a concert in the city & they couldn't be nicer, more professional...driver was really nice, funny and entertaining. They were right on time and after the concert easy to find (even when everyone else was looking for their rides, my driver managed to be right in front)...will def. use them again!!! I searched all over Yelp and the rest of the internet to find a car service to take me from my office in Englewood Cliffs to Newark airport. Every business had nothing but terrible, angry reviews. But then I came across Metropro Limo. I found it hard to believe a car service could warrant only 5 star reviews. But it's all true. First, I called the day before to make a reservation. The guy I spoke to read back all my information and then emailed me a copy of my pick-up schedule. The next day my driver texted me when he was on his way and then again when he arrived out front of the office. The driver was super nice, chatty but not too chatty and the car was very nice and well maintained. Best of all and most important - they showed up and arrived on time which, according the the voices of the internet, seems to be a tough thing for most car services to manage. Excellent car service! We were vacationing in Florida and having such a good time, we forgot to call and reserve a car to get us home from the airport. I called Saturday afternoon and we needed a car for 11:30 p.m. that night to take us from Westchester County Airport to Bergen County. I left messages for several car services, and they were the ONLY ones to call me back (and they called back within 30 minutes, on a Saturday). They were so friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the price was reasonable and included everything - tax, tip, tolls - no surprises!! And when we received our receipt in my email, the price was exactly as stated, no additional charges. Joe, our driver, was friendly and we felt safe with our kids in the back on dark Westchester roads and highways. He also was prompt - our flight arrived almost 30 minutes early, and he obviously kept an eye on the flight arrival time, as he texted me literally within 2 minutes of the plane landing (before I was even off the plane!!). He helped with our luggage and was patient when we got home and had to get our sleeping kids out of the car. He didn't stand around "waiting" for additional tip, but rather was saying goodnight and getting back in his car as we were getting our kids in the house - my husband had to run out the door to tip him additional, as we thought it was earned, but he in no way was expecting or fishing for it.
