I can't comment on the rooms in this boutique hotel, but I did meet a friend here for a drink and some lunch one day and I have to be honest, I was sort of confused.
I could see in the windows that it looked nice inside, but there was a sign propped up against the wall which sort of looked like it should be attached to something. It put me off, and I'm not really sure why!
The interior was much better though, and I liked the idea of the '15 minute lunch' which guarantees you get your lunch in 15 minutes, or you get it for free. It's a set price of £4.95, and I opted for the chicken Caesar salad, which was quite large and very nice actually. I had a glass of white wine too and it was a tasty lunch for under a tenner. I couldn't really complain at that!
I would definitely recommend that option if you're on your lunch hour, it's a great idea. read more
