So I originally posted the below review back in April after a horrific experience. Then, the owner…read morestarted calling and emailing me to get me to remove the review. He offered to clean my windows for free if I removed the review and I emailed him back and said I don't want a free window cleaning, I want to share my experience. A few days later he showed up to my home UNANNOUNCED AND UNINVITED and intimidated me into removing the review. After seeing Daniel B's review I am re-posting my honest and true review. I will not be bullied- and I wonder how many other clients have been bullied or harassed by this business owner!?? We scheduled a window cleaning for 1pm yesterday, April 28, 2014. It was very windy so at 12pm I called Cedar to confirm and he said they'd be there. No mention of a delay. I stayed home all day and at 3:30 pm still no window cleaners, no courtesy phone call, nothing. My husband called Cedar and gently suggest we reschedule due to the delay, and Cedar was dismissive and rude, telling him "They'll be there soon. I have other things to be doing right now" and hanging up on him! Excuse me Cedar, but I had other things to be doing too during the three hours I was waiting for your team to show up! When still no one had shown up by 4pm we cancelled our service. I can't believe we were treated this way by a company named after the Hindu god of yogis! Shame on you!

Maybe my review can help you make the best decision on who to choose for your window cleaning. My wife contacted Eyes of Shiva to clean the windows of our house. She's on the board of our small 6 unit HOA and offered to talk to the other homeowners to see if others were interested, and if she could get a few more people in, could we get a break on the price. He agreed so she got 3 other homeowners on board. The owner came to the property to assess the units and create a bid. Later he left a weird voicemail with me about my wife not getting back to him, as if the decision was made that they weren't going to choose them. I had to remind him that I was not the point person for the window cleaning project, and that he needs to speak directly with my wife, as she's on the HOA Board. Just before the cleaning he sent an email to my wife about his crew coming to clean and that he wanted payment same day of service. Absolutely reasonable. We let the participating homeowners know. Day of service the owner shows up with his crew. He gets introduced to the other homeowners so that arrangements can be made regarding access and timing for the day's cleaning, and give him an opportunity to make arrangements for payment. His workers are nice guys, professional, they get to work and he leaves. That evening, after folks got home from work, the homeowners expected to talk to the EoS owner about the work, pay the bill, etc. but he didn't show up. We had made arrangements for payment and we assumed that the owner was talking to the other homeowners about the respective work done and payment, but a couple weeks later he emailed my wife asking for payment from the other homeowners too. Other homeowners said they didn't hear from him about their quality of the work or the payment. In one case, they had to track him down on how to send payment. Weird. Why won't he talk to the other homeowners? Completely unprofessional in my opinion. But despite my wife's busy schedule, she did HIS job and wrangled the checks, then sent them off in the mail. A few days later he sends another email asking where payment is. My wife explains that she sent it to his company address in the signature of his email. He sends back an email scolding her, saying that he doesn't put his address in his email signature. Well, he absolutely did, and my wife sent him the email as proof. I assume he went to his PO Box and got the checks, but why make her do all the work? Why not confer with the other homeowners about the work he did at their houses, and fix mistakes or collect payment? The window cleaning itself was acceptable, we've had better and worse, but dealing with the owner of the company was a frustrating and confusing experience. There are easier companies to work with out there. I suggest you do your research and go with one of them.

Strongly recommend you consider another more reputable company. Details: While 20/20 claims to take the utmost care to either prevent damage altogether, or report it when it does happen, this was not the case in our home. We just finished a complete remodel of our bathroom and part of the work that 20/20 was hired to do was clean the windows inside the new bathroom. While doing so they chipped a brand-new floating mirror (hanging off the wall several inches) that was installed and inspected a few days before they came out to do window cleaning. When we contacted 20/20 to point out what had happened, they denied any responsibility although there is clear evidence indicating their culpability. There is a large arched window in a vaulted ceiling above the countertop where the mirror is installed. The company owner (Jim) told us that the technician who did the window cleaning in the bathroom admitted he was standing on the counter with his feet right at the bottom of the mirror's edge in order to clean the window above. So, his feet were directly below the area of the mirror that was damaged. The technician was also wearing headphones so it would be difficult for him to hear if he caused any damage. Jim, the owner, will claim that there were also plumbers working in the bathroom the same day. True. They were doing some final work on the bathtub that is easily 10 feet away from the mirror and positioned perpendicular to the mirror. There is no practical way that the plumbers could have damaged the mirror (they were nowhere near it) and the plumbers mentioned that they never touched the countertop above which the mirror is positioned. Jim, the owner, will also claim that no chipped piece of glass was found under the mirror. I have no idea how that would even be relevant! If someone chipped the mirror and he was prepared to hide that fact, you might naturally assume he would remove any chip. Alternatively, the chipped part of the mirror could easily have gone down the drain of the sink directly in front of the mirror. In either case, the mirror is most definitely chipped. We have discussed this matter with Jim in person, by phone, and by email. He aggressively denies that his employee did any damage (although Jim was not present during the cleaning, so he of course has no direct knowledge). As a compromise to end the situation amicably, we even offered to split the cost of replacing the mirror. Jim had a serious negative reaction to this settlement suggestion and told us he would sue us if we posted a negative review about his company. Oh, the situation is even more unfortunate. In addition to damaging the mirror in the bathroom, his employees damage a large Saturn V LEGO rocket in one of my son's room. The damage was fixable, but what is important, is that the employee never disclosed to us that he damaged the rocket. And, in the other son's room they damaged a 4x4 Rubik's Cube (not the standard 3x3 type). In this case they actually broke one of the pieces, so the cube is no longer usable. Again, not a huge expense, but again, the employee never reported to us that he damaged the cube. So, you should ask yourself, are these the type of people you want working in your house? And, do you really want to do business with an owner who denies any responsibility and threatens to sue you?
