I highly recommend Matt! Not only did he do a great job at the arrangements, he was super nice and helpful, really knows flowers, and cared a lot about his work and service to us! It makes me really sad to write this review as I have never wrote a poor review in my life. We…read morerecently hired Orchid-Luxury Flower Design/Matt to arrange our bouquets for our Nov. 4th wedding. Initially, everything was great when my wife found this business. Matt was nice and the price was fair. Matt uses the same space as a wedding venue called Feragne Villa. Matt had good reviews on yelp and seemed legitimate. So...day of the wedding, 9am my wife goes to pick up the flowers and there is another wedding party, fully dressed in the middle of getting ready. My wife, who apologized for interrupting their special day, knocked on the door to one of the rooms and this lady named Rita screams at my wife, "CAN I HELP YOU?!!!" In a super crappy tone. When my wife explained she was there to pick up her bouquets, Rita said, "oh I'm sorry, I thought you were part of that stupid bridal party." My wife said that Rita was asleep in that room. Weird. On top of all this, when my wife received the flowers they were subpar at best. Some of the flowers were missing pedals, the daisys were wilted, and it was wrapped in ribbon that looked like scotch tape. After my wife showed me (and after she cried for a while) we brought the flowers to Kroger and they couldn't believe we paid for these bouquets. Thank God for Kroger! They took out the wilted ones, added greenery (as there was none) and wrapped them appropriately. We let Matt know of everything that happened via phone call and all he had to say was, "Well I'm not sure what happened between yesterday and today but they looked fine to me." We told Matt we were extremely disappointed, not only with the bouquets, but with the unprofessionalism from Rita. Matt did nothing. We decided to just let it be as we didn't want it to ruin our special day. Never heard back from Matt, Rita, or anyone from this business. We still had a wonderful day, no thanks to this business. The weird thing is...on top of all of this...when I went to write this review on Yelp, Matt must have deleted his old yelp account, because there were zero reviews. But the reason we found them was their good yelp reviews. Weird. Do not use this service. Trust us!!!

The service was very good, although it was clear the bartender was extremely busy handling both the bar area and the outdoor seating. They could definitely benefit from a second bartender, as drink service was a little slow at times. That being said, the drinks were absolutely worth the wait. I had the Blueberry Habanero Margarita, which was tart, refreshing, and delicious. My husband started with a frozen margarita that he really enjoyed and later switched to a draft Modelo. For food, he ordered the pozole and I had the jumbo shrimp fajitas. Everything was exceptional. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, the dishes were well prepared, and the portions were generous enough that we left completely satisfied. What really excites us about this place is that it feels much more traditional Mexican than Tex Mex, which is much harder to find in this area. The food, drinks, and atmosphere all made a great impression on us, and we are so glad we discovered this spot. We will definitely be back!

I posted this elsewhere, but I wanted to post it here too. Our wedding couldn't have been better,…read moreand it was all thanks to the awesome folks at Wildwood Inn. If you're thinking about having your wedding here, do it -- it was worth every penny (and make sure you work with Kristen -- the best venue coordinator in the land)! I've read some of the negative reviews, and they honestly surprised me -- our experience was amazing (and I don't think we were an exception). My wife and I were married there June 11th, and we decided to rent out all the rooms. The rooms were incredible (particularly the groom's suite), and each room was unique. We had so much fun having the run of the place for the weekend (if you can afford it, I HIGHLY recommend you do this)! We NEVER had a problem with any of the staff -- they were all very helpful and nice. We had a 1.5 year engagement, which gave us lots of time to plan. Wildwood Inn, and Kristen in particular, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They kept close contact with us, were VERY responsive, and always did their best to accommodate our needs (even when we were a little needy). I would be remiss if I didn't mention Amanda -- she helped coordinate everything up to about a month before the wedding, and she was always incredibly responsive and helpful. I don't think we could have done this without Kristen and Amanda, honestly. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we had to make a few changes, but the staff (and Kristen in especially) helped us (kindly, I might add) get exactly what we were looking for. I know we were needy -- I know we were probably a pain in the ass. But they were understanding of our stress, kind in their words, and helpful in their actions. They made what could have been a really crappy situation into a smooth ride. There was a little mix up with the chairs (some new, nicer chairs had come in, but there was an issue finding storage at this cozy little venue), but Kristen was able to conjure up some storage and get us the chairs my wife had her heart set on (and we can't give her enough credit for that -- Kristen is like a magician of wedding coordination)! We also needed to change a few other things that we had decided almost a year previous, but they accommodated those changes as well. Finally, and this was the big one, we had a little flower girl meltdown right before the ceremony. Everyone was FREAKING out -- she was sobbing uncontrollably, and no one could console her. It really was looking bad, like the ceremony was going to be delayed or ruined. Then in steps Kristen. I swear, this woman is the child whisperer. Kristen swept up the flower girl, who INSTANTLY stopped crying (after easily an hour of her whole family trying to calm her down). It was like magic. The flower girl was shy through the whole ceremony (and had to stay close to mom, the matron of honor), BUT she didn't cry for the rest of the ceremony (and truly, she was screaming bloody murder before Kristen stepped in). Kristen really saved the day -- she should get a raise just for that bit alone! But even after all that drama, she stuck with us throughout the entire wedding (3 hours) and made sure everything went smoothly. The wedding was gorgeous (some of our guests told us it was the most fun they'd EVER had at a wedding), the venue was incredible, the rooms were incredible, the staff was incredible... I just can't say enough good things about this place. Book your wedding here -- do it now before someone else does. It was the fairytale wedding my wife dreamed of! And Wildwood Inn, Kristen, and Amanda made it happen. Thank you guys so much for everything! Y'all are the best.
