I had some issue with my insurance which I was going back and forth with the office manager with. I feel like I was not receiving the correct information when I went back to my insurance provider. If you are not sure don't tell people incorrect information?? I have called at 4 pm some days the office manager has "left for the day", told I would get a call back, no one reached back. I called today and the office manager "is out on Fridays" . Not sure if I will be continuing my dental care here anymore after this. experience

My daughter who started as a patient here was recently shadowing at the office as she is now in college for dentistry ( hygiene major) . Really amazing to see the growth of the office and their relationship with each patient remains the same. Our experience has been more of a family type of a feel as the staff really cares for everyone that steps in . Hope you give this dentist office and their staff a chance , and be amazed at how different they are from the other dentists around town !

This office has always been very understanding of my fear of Dentist. Pretty sure it dates back…read morefrom my childhood. I had Dr. Aubell who was a very nice man but his hands were just to big for my mouth and it always hurt, and although he has now passed away my fear is still going strong years later. I would opt to give childbirth again versus having to get a new crown any-day! And here I am having twins. Twin crowns that is. I even called my Mom and told her that the worst thing about growing up is having to make your own dentist appointments So, I've downloaded a book on tape. Divine Evil written by Nora Roberts. Signed all the forms including initializing here and there. Paid my portion of the co-pay, said a and hopefully I'll be done soon. Give me the laughing gas!!! UPDATE: I survived thanks to a great staff

09/30/2025 I would…read morelike to begin by commending Jiasia and the other front desk staff for their outstanding customer service. From check-in through communication with the dental assistants, my experience was excellent, and I am truly grateful for the professionalism and kindness shown at the front desk. Unfortunately, my visit took a concerning turn once I was seen by Juanita, the hygienist. At approximately 4:30 p.m., I explained to her that I have sensitivity in my upper left and lower right jaw before the cleaning began. I also mentioned that I initially believed my appointment was for an extraction, but after she clarified it was for a cleaning, I agreed to proceed without hesitation. During the cleaning, I was not offered any preparation for my gums or suctioning to ease the discomfort. When I raised my hand to signal pain, Juanita accused me of "trying to hit her in the face." When I raised my hand a second time, she repeated this accusation, stating I was "acting like" I was going to strike her. These comments were accusatory and inappropriate, as I was only signaling discomfort. I even asked her what alternative signal I could use, but she did not provide a response. Instead, she left the room, ending the cleaning prematurely. This experience was extremely upsetting. I was left in pain, had to spit into a paper towel without suction, and felt unjustly accused of aggression. I hold a Doctorate in Special Education with an emphasis in behavior, and I professionally train teachers and students on how to identify, interpret, and appropriately respond to behavioral cues. Because of this expertise, I am confident in my ability to communicate non-aggressively and to use appropriate signals to express discomfort. To have my calm and intentional actions misinterpreted as aggressive, and to be accused of attempting to strike someone, was not only inaccurate but also deeply unprofessional. As a long-term patient of Wheatland Dental, I have never before encountered this type of treatment. The accusatory remarks made toward me were not only unprofessional but also damaging to the trust I have placed in this practice. I am sharing this concern because I value the excellent care I have historically received at Wheatland Dental, and I believe this matter deserves to be addressed. However, due to the seriousness of this incident and the false accusation made against me, I will also be submitting a written complaint to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE). Please be advised that I have an audio recording of the encounter, which supports my account of the events. I respectfully request a written response outlining how this matter will be addressed within the practice. Thank you for your time and attention to this serious matter.
