Visited the Fashion Industry Gallery for the "Summer Vibe Market"…read more Nice indoor market (escape the Dallas heat) with lots of cool vendors to shop around at. There were artisan candle makers, stickers, chocolatiers, desserts, French pastries, clothing, jewelry, Italian leather goods, loose leaf teas, fresh flowers, Peruvian handmade clothing, etc. Perfect venue to find the cutest gifts from local artisans and small businesses.

This could be a great space for a wedding venue, but the ceiling might be a little bit low, especially for a bouquet toss. The only other qualm I have with the venue might not even have control over. When the valet returned my SUV, and I obviously understand it's Texas in September, my car seat was literally SOAKED in the fella's sweat. It went though my two-layer dress on my back and seat. I couldn't find a dry spot to drive home! Like I said, that may not be their deal, but I was greatly displeased. Back to the space though, there was a wide open spade for food and drinks and socializing as well as smaller rooms for break out space. Lighting was fantastic, exposed brick, all fantastic. I'd consider hosting an event here if I needed that size venue.

Clothes Circuit is a very cool consignment shop in Preston Center. Love the name by the way. I…read morecame here for the first time on Monday. The store is decent sized and has a lot of clothes options, along with shoes, bags, and jewelry. Some of the pieces I feel could be a bit better, however these are designer brands and the condition of all of the clothes were in good condition. Some of the shoes were questionable. There was so much wear on since of the bottoms of the shoes (size 11 specifically) that it was odd how they were even selected to be sold here. This may be because of limited inventory at the time, but the price seemed inflated considering the condition of some of these items. I wish they had a better selection of size xl and up but again, they're at the mercy of the inventory that they receive. Still, I managed to get a nice pair of Mignonne Gavigan earrings so I'm pleased.

The manager started screaming at me and said it was my problem. I genuinely felt treated by her. She was very scary with lots of piercings on her face. She screamed touched my phone and chased me out of the store. I almost called the police. I'm in customer service, so this was highly bizarre behavior. She might be on drugs. Run. Don't go there. Ever.

Finding a ski slope anywhere near Dallas? Impossible!…read more Finding deals on winter and outdoor gear and apparel? Less of a challenge! St Bernard has locations throughout the D/FW but their outlet is the true gem! Located out near Love Field in the warehouse sprawl, the Outlet is a bit out of the way for most. Their massive warehouse shop has a huge selection of clearance and last-season apparel, shoes, and outdoor gear for both cold and warm weather. Best known for ski and snowboard apparel, they also have a great selection of hiking gear, swim suits, shoes, luggage, sweaters, and casual apparel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bear has helped several times and he's very knowledgeable. My only negative perception is that some of their clearance ski apparel tends to be priced very high for an outlet. But like any outlet, it's all about the hunt for a bargain. St Bernard still is a high-end retailer so the brands they carry are top line. But wherever you may be driving from, it's worth the hike. Dallas is definitely not an outdoor mecca, especially for winter sports so it's nice to know for those of us who travel frequently, there's a place to find great gear.

Everything was done transparently and never against any policy we were told about at the time. Despite this, all 4 of our accounts were closed without explanation. We have total $850 site credits across all 4 accounts which are unused and now lost. When I raised the issue with the employee who helped set everything up and with the store manager, both told me they would help to try to get the accounts reactivated. Instead, the only response I ever received was a corporate email stating my account was closed, that I no longer had access to any services, and that I was not permitted to contact any employees or visit any store, consignment office, or pop-up location. Outrageous. To make matters worse, when my consigned shoes were returned to me, the original shoe box was badly damaged -- which affects the resale value of the item. I have before and after pictures with timestamps as proof. Luckily I also saved the message history, documenting the account setups and consignments, facilitated by their own staff. To be treated this way and to have my item's box damaged on top of it -- is unacceptable. I'd think twice before trusting this company with consigned items or referral programs.
