In less than an hour, a team was assembling onsite to begin repairs and before day's end all residents impacted were already back online. While down, the 123.net crew also jumped in to help me connect online a different way temporarily to allow me to meet a work deadline I was on. Extremely friend, hard-working crew who took our outage seriously and got down the business immediately to fix it. I have an 2013 iMac that was running slower and slower. I wasn't thrilled about buying a new one…read moreas they've downsized the hard drive capacity without a significant increase in price. I decided to upgrade by original hard drive to a solid state drive and took it to GP Geek in The Village. They are right next to CVS on the parking lot side. The iMac models from 2013 onward have their screens glued on so they needed to order the adhesive kit and that took a few days. We were out of town so it worked out perfectly. They replaced my old drive with the new SSD and migrated everything from the old drive. The price was very reasonable and everything is working great. The system now is ready to go in about ten seconds from pressing the power button. This was taking several minutes before. Anything I open is now nearly instantaneous. It basically turned an eight year old machine into a brand new one! I'd definitely recommend Grosse Pointe Geek for any computer work.

They're also very detailed and will tell me when items won't print right or they recommend changes. You're dealing with people who care, not some big corporate store.
