PSA: Please avoid this facility at all costs. I was treated with the wrong medication…read more On the morning of 11/28/2025, I went to CitiMD for treatment for a urinary tract infection (UTI). I was seen by a physician who collected a urine sample, confirmed that I had a UTI, and prescribed medication. I had the prescription filled immediately and paid $48.50; I do not have prescription drug coverage. I took one pill when I got home and another around 11:00 p.m. I continued the same regimen on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning, for a total of seven doses. On Monday, 12/1, I received a call from the Customer After Care Center in the Philippines informing me that I had been prescribed the wrong medication. I was told that I would need to return to CitiMD for treatment. I explained that this would require another co-pay and another $48.50. I asked whether she could call my pharmacist with the correct prescription, but she said she could not. I asked her to refund me my original co-pay & the cost of the prescription. She laughed. I did not laugh. She insisted I contact CitiMD. I am deeply concerned that I took seven doses of the wrong medication before being notified of the error. I am also concerned that it took three and a half days to inform me that the prescription was incorrect. Given the seriousness of this situation, I believe the prescribing doctor should be held accountable. I suspect malpractice. When I contacted CitiMD, I was met with everything except kindness. Their priority was protecting the doctor -- a full-on cover your ass operation rather than addressing my concerns. The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. I was hung up on three separate times and left on hold for two hours. They refused to let me speak with the attending physician on duty that day. Instead, they continued to point me in the direction of the Philippines Customer After Care Center even after I explained the Philippines wanted nothing to do with me. Since I could not get a call back, I decided to see my PCP to receive proper medical care. He was alarmed by what I had experienced. Given the circumstances outlined above, it is reasonable that I will not be paying the $31.65. I contacted Social Security, explaining that garnishing $31.65 from my check would only escalate the situation further.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother. My mother went this morning to this urgent care…read more The doctor or NP, not sure what her title was- was absolutely terrible. My mother said that she never encountered such a rude medical "professional". She was argumentative, combative and ill-mannered, right from the start. My mother said that the lady arrived late to work and came in mad. She did not want to be there and flat out told my mother she doesn't want to help her, and can't help her. She even had the nerve to accuse my mother of being argumentative, but all my mother wanted to do was give her a little background about what made her come in today, but she couldn't do any of that because this "professional" kept interrupting her. This medical "professional " said she doesn't want to hear her history, doesn't have time to hear her story and just wants to know the reason why she is there today. My mother said that this lady kept cutting her off and wouldn't even let her speak. My mother had to tell her about the history of why she's there in order for the doctor to give her proper treatment. Well she never got any treatment. How is any of this acceptable?? This lady then had the nerve to storm out of the exam room and then another nurse or assistant came inside and told my mother she should go see her primary instead. The whole point of my mother even going to the urgent care was because her primary was unavailable this weekend. After all this, the front desk told my mother that they will not be charging her for today's visit since no one was able to help her. Let's see about that. My mother has been there several times before, so that's why she came back to this urgent care, but she said that this doctor or nurse practitioner that she saw initially today might have been new because she doesn't remember ever seeing her before. For this urgent cares sake, I hope they let this woman go, and she clearly needs to change professions or maybe seek her own professional help before returning to serve the public. Unbelievable. I am appalled and disgusted. Stay far away from this place.
