There are all the major banks in this area and when I needed to exchange currency I would go wait in line at the bank. Then one day as I sat relaxing in Oak Ridge I saw the small exchange booth at the front of Marlin Travel. Since their main service is currency exchange this is the first place I would go if I need any type of currency. If you need an unusually large amount I would call ahead to be sure, but as mentioned there are enough banks in the area you can get what you need. Everytime I use their currency exchange it takes less than two minutes and that is not exaggerating. This location is directly inside of the 41st St entrance on the right past the White Spot.

I travel a lot and if I found a trustworthy travel agent she would have made a lot of commission. Instead, she was rude, unkind and slightly condescending telling me that I should just book online or book right now with her. Not impressed with their poor attitude and unwillingness to ask a question with human decency and politeness.
