We were recently refused service by Metro towing. After waiting an hour for their arrival, they wouldn't tow us because I have a service dog. I was in from out of town (several hours away) and my died on my w/no warning. AAA connected with them and hired them in to tow my car to the dealership. There were many factors I had to take into consideration w/being in from out of town and not having a car, so I was somewhat of a hot mess when I handed my car over to Gary B and a very nice woman in the truck. They could tell I was super nervous about the situation and handing over my car and keys, but also being so far from home and having nothing, as I handed over my car/keys. Not really an ideal situation to be in. They checked the car, were professional, couldn't fix it on the spot and eventually towed it to the lot. They were SUPER kind about keeping good communication with me about the car making it to the lot and took a picture of the car IN the dealership lot when it finally made it to it's final destination. They did NOT have to do that and only did it to be kind. I'm telling you, handing over your whole car and keys to someone when you're far away from home isn't easy, so I was super appreciative for their professionalism and empathy for the million things I had going through my head as I was trying to problem solve the rest of my journey in town w/out a car. I appreciate everything they did. They were professional, had great communication and most importantly, went above and beyond in customer service. We had a bad flat, luckily it was at our house in Neosho. We contacted State Farm for a roadside assistance tow & they sent us Metro Towing. Said it would be about 30-60 minutes but I swear they were here in like 5 minutes! He just got it on the truck and is on the way to the tire shop. If you have roadside assistance, they are amazing!. Also, I think they're out of Neosho so that's probably why we had such fast service. I can't say about the value since we're using our insurance but if you don't have roadside assistance on your policy, I would recommend getting it. You never know what's going to happen! Check out the photo of how Metro loaded and then just dumped my vehicle 3 feet away from the curb out front of my house, causing me to be illegally parked after towing it; I measured with a tape measure, it is 32 inches away from the curb on a narrow street. I requested it to be dropped in my driveway, and just asking that frustrated everyone involved so much, that my truck was just sat down in the middle of the road and left like that. I was on the phone with AAA for hours to get the issue corrected and they finally agreed to pay another company to put it in my driveway. The dispatcher at Metro told me, that their driver said I had requested it to be towed as pictured instead of it being put on the bed of a tow truck as one would expect; because I was concerned about damage to my bumper and front end (that conversation never happened). When I asked for it to be put in the driveway where I can service the vehicle, the driver shot me down before he even looked at it, and told me he was only allowed to take it so many feet from the road. HEY METRO- next time AAA calls you on my behalf, just refuse service to me so they can call any other tow company in the 4-states, I would rather wait for hours then to receive this kind of service. read more

Called to have truck towed across town to repair shop. They arrived in less than 30 minutes, took pictures of vehicle loaded up and delivered to shop, pictures sent, all in about an hour. We called several places for estimates and most were $70 and up. Metro was the best value at $45. Would definitely use again and would not hesitate to recommend. read more

I needed a tow so called AAA. They sent out Metro Towing. They left me sitting for 3 hours before finally showing up. When they did show up the driver pulled into a vacant lot across the street from the address I gave them. This is a busy 5 lane road and did not feel safe dodging traffic to get his attention. The truck sat there for almost 10 minutes doing nothing. I called AAA to find out what was going on, they put me on hold for several minutes. All of a sudden the driver calls me and asks me where I am located. I told him I was across the street at the correct address staring at him. He replied " I don't see you, are you in the white car?" I responded NO I am in the BLACK one that I described when I called 3 hours ago for a tow truck! When he finally got to me he made jokes about it. I did not see the humor. No wonder it took him 3 hours to show up being he didn't bother to find out where he was going or why. read more

They checked on it several times over the course of a couple days until they were sure that they could safely complete the job, which was a tricky situation. Our truck was stolen and Metro Towing recovered from the woods.... after driving down there we paid the impound fees and set a time for truck to be delivered back to us....the lady behind desk said might be satirday night and the latest would be sunday and we could pay with card or cash....monday still no truck and no communication from them unless we called....at 8pm i called and was told driver was 10 minutes away and that we had to pay cash......we dont live near an atm.....business is bad with communicating to customers....would not recommend and make sure you have cash. read more

I called at 8:07 am. The dispatcher told me less then 45 mins. I waited 45 mins and called for a status. She said he had 2 ahead of me but was now on his way to me. I waited an hour and 15 mins and called and she sent me to voicemail. I called 10 mins later she put me on hold and came back to tell me he had to stop for fuel but was now on his way to me. That was 44 mins ago. He has now showed up for AAA but not for my original call at 8:07 this morning. Wtf. read more
