Always late no matter what they don't get me out to my appointment once a week never on time

The reason I gave a1, is because I received a shared ride and it made me late for my appointment so, I couldn't be seen. waste of time. Poor scheduling. read more

I always ride with Metro luxury, however today the driver was very reckless in the road while it was raining. we almost got into 2 accidents within me being in the vehicle for 4 minutes. I asked the driver if he could take it easy I don't feel safe. He shrugged his shoulders and waved me off. I reached shared the information about the car I was in with my kids in case I was in an accident and talked to my daughter on FaceTime the rest of my drive considering how reckless the driver was driving. read more

I'd leave zero stars if I could. I could go on about how the drivers were rude and yelled and snapped at us. I could explain how one damaged my father's wheelchair. I could go on about how one driver was picking my father up from the hospital and, while he was there, approached and picked up another passenger who was not part of our party. But the reason why we stopped using Metro Luxury is because one morning - during a downpour - the driver simply never came. I called the office multiple times and they always assured me the car was on it's way. 5 minutes away, 10 minutes away, 15 minutes away. Eventually they were an hour late from the pickup time, were very clearly not coming, and I had to wheel my sick father to his radiation appointment in the pouring rain. When the appointment was over, I checked their automated system to see about the car and it was apparently still on its way to our apartment. Every last driver was also incredibly rude when I asked them to let me know when they were here. They would typically call when they were 15 minutes away (by their estimate, they were always later than that) and would yell, snap, or simply refuse to let me know when they were here so my sick father did not have to wait outside in the cold. This is a transportation to a medical appointment. Obviously their clients are sick and should not be waiting in the cold for 15-30 minutes. read more

So it was a very bad experience, first when i got in the car i noticed that it was two other people. And i had to be at my appointment at a certain time and he was going to make me late. So i had to get out and get on the bus so that i could make it on time. read more

Sometimes ok. exaggersted pick up times that don't include driver pit stops, med transport , compromised immune systems - service for single passengers - attempted to pack in 3 sick people like sardines. I was waiting for a pickup from NYU Langone Hospital today on 12/23, after spending a week long painful and traumatic stay. Not only was my driver with license plate number ending 255C over 30 minutes late, he actually called me and asked if he was picking up only me. I asked him why was he asking. He responded that he was at Bellevue picking up another passenger and wanted me to share the ride. I immediately refused and asked him to cancel my trip. The company called me back and told me to wait for him and that the driver will take me home alone. Medicaid passengers are not required to be forced to ride share with other people who are not in their party for a variety of reasons, most important because of health reasons. This driver sure tried to pull a fast one to enrich his own pockets instead of simply doing his job and looking out for the welfare of patients. Metro you should really do better, by first removing this driver license plate #255C from your company's roster. I was left feeling humiliated and unsafe the entire ride home. My pickup time was scheduled for 3:15pm going to Long Island City, NY. I will more than likely report this to Medicaid transportation services as well. read more

I mostly like how this company operates. However, due to my height and disability I have repeatedly requested vans and Suvs however they have failed to supply them several times. Tonight I waited over an hour for a reserved car and still ended up with an uncomfortable sedan. read more

today 7/23/25 I totally regret having this company. my mom has been waiting since 1:30pm with her chemo pump on her, for the car to come get her to her appointment.. called severally and was told a white car is on the way,later a black car, later a gray car...her appointent is 2:30 and as I am writing the time is 2:20pm still waiting...would have gotten something else but I am not with my mom to help her navigate the movement. you guys are terribl. read more

9:15am pick up time never happened I called at 9:22am the operator said walk out the vehicle will be there in one minute. I walked out and waited in the rain, no driver. At 9:27am I got a text telling me the color and vehicle number, at 9:43am still no vehicle, I called again this time to here a different vehicle will be coming to me pick up. 9:50 I called again because my appointment time was 10:20am knowing I'm going to be late. At 10:07am I called again this time a very arrogant male answered the phone telling me the driver waited 17 minutes on me and I told him I was outside since 9:22am, what address did he go to and why didn't he call or text like they usually do, he said they told me that they wouldn't be calling and it looks like I would be traveling to my appointment this morning and transferred me back to their recording. When I first started using metro luxury they was excellent picking Me up in time in the beginning now, their always 30 to 40 min late everyday for a 7 min ride makes no sense at all now the return trips is outstanding but the morning trips is horrible read more

I am waiting an hour for my return ride. The driver told the dispatcher sh is 3 blocks away and there is traffic, which is a lie. There is no traffic on the area where I am at. I use Metro Luxury on a weekly basis because that is who the clinic uses for my ride to my appointments. They are always really early or really late picking me up. Today they were extremely late in picking me up for my appointment which also made me late to work afterwards. The idea that other people mayhave a schedule doesn't mean anything to them. I am in the process of finding another provider for my rides. Their customer service is also horrible. They hung up on me on purpose 4 times then ignored my calls. My ride was really late after my appointment today, I had to take the subway to drop me off which is not good for my breathing. read more

I always use metro luxury and I never had a problem, until yesterday. It was the worse experience I ever had, from the start of my trip they send the car 25 minutes early and I wasn't ready. I called them when I was ready and waited 20 minutes with no eta got my appointment called back with another trip took 35 minutes this time, again no eta. got to my second appointment, called again for another trip to go home, this was the worse one out of everything. no eta as always, called metro luxury, every time I called metro luxury I can't get a hold of them until 5 minutes later, told me they will be there in 6 minute. 6 minutes passed and no car called metro luxury again waited another 5 minutes to get a hold of them. they had to send me another car Cause of a problem. Told me they will be here in 3 minutes yet again their not here I called again and told me he will be here shortly. the driver got there and said my name and said he is with uber with the wrong drop off ave. now I'm pissed off. calling them really upset and i had to wait for another car tells me another 2 minutes yet again didn't get here on time. overall this was the worse experience I ever had. it was cold outside I don't want to wait inside cause they didn't call. if this keeps happening I will have to change the company, the Gentlemen that I spoke with was very apologetic read more

Wish I could give zero stars. This is a piss poor operation at best. The customer service is friendly but the lie repeatedly and make unforgiveable mistakes. This is mainly used for medical appointments. People can't afford to be one hour late for medical appointments. The patient can be made to reschedule and if they are not being late causes a ripple effect that effects healthcare in general. What do you think happens to a facilities when even one patient is an hour late? They are careless and irresponsible. Transportation has two goals to get the person(s) being transported there safely and on time. Once in a while, being 15 mins late is understandable. Consistently miss 1 out of 2 goals is abysmal. The only way they could be doing worse is if they were causing physical harm to the riders. read more
