There are usually three staff members here--one man (always very kind and respectful), an older woman, and a younger woman. Unfortunately, my recent visit was extremely unpleasant due to the younger woman's behavior.
She was the only one working and folding clothes when I arrived. I stood at the counter waiting for assistance, and although she saw me, she didn't greet me or acknowledge me in any way. Eventually, she walked over with a visibly annoyed expression, though I hadn't said anything or expressed frustration about waiting.
She asked if I had any sheets in my bags, and when I said yes, she sighed loudly and sucked her teeth. After finding the sheets, she said in a rude tone, "Next time, put the sheet on top of the bag." I said okay, though I was taken aback by her attitude. Then she looked at me and, again in a rude tone, asked, "Aren't you going to help me?" and rolled her eyes.
It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I've never had issues when the man or older woman is working--they're always respectful and pleasant. But the younger woman clearly does not want to be there and should not be in a customer-facing role. read more
