There were wooden crates in front of the display empty except for the top one which had the same rotten beans in it. I saw what I thought was an employee from the produce section and I said "your beans are rotten." His reply was " a lot of them in there are". Why would a store like Farm Boy dish up the last of their rotten beans instead of discarding them. I was very disappointed that a store that prides itself on its produce would actually charge for rotten beans let alone expect people to buy them.

However, the okra was a huge (and possibly the only) letdown. The staff was a little dismissive, but I get it. Long and busy day at work, so I hold no grudge. They have ample parking spaces and the store itself is very spacious. They have a lot of sales and I find the prices quite phenomenal and I don't say that very often! Neither of us thought the addition of kale to pesto was a great one however we thought we would check it out! The promise of walnuts was not fulfilled which seemed strange considering that the "walnuts" was included in the name. Eventually we decided to mix the excess oil from the greek pasta salad with the kale pesto walnut salad. While this helped the kale pesto salad be a bit more moist, it is clear that this combination was not what grocery checkout intended.
