I usually don't write bad reviews ,especially when people make mistakes as I have worked in the car industry for 20 years in dealerships around NZ and Australia and understand how it all works..!!! Ignorance is a different story as it is a form of admission of guilt with high hopes of the grieving party going away and giving up on their expectations . Well let me explain my grievance .! It all started in November when I have booked my wife's Renault Megane for a second diagnosis of the very squeaky front shock absorbers after the first time they where not replaced but lubed . This time I was told by the Service Advisor I will not name that they are faulty and a replacement was approved by Renault Australia under warranty . Unfortunately due to high service bookings I had to wait over a month till the 23d Of December . I have brought the car in and have taken an Uber back home . Around twenty past 3 I was called to hurry and pick up my completed vehicle as they where closing early. Again I took another Uber and went to pick up the vehicle . As soon as I started driving I was disappointed as the noise was still there but on a much smaller scale . I decided to monitor the car over Christmas and unfortunately my disappointment was justified as the noise went back to original pre service levels. That has brought me to conclusion that they did exactly the same thing like the first time .....patched it up by lubing it . This time it lasted a day before it was noticeable and it is highly plausible that they didn't install a new shock absorber assembly or the spare parts department gave them a faulty kit ...I wonder which one happened..? Anyway when I picked up the car I was told that the zero invoice wasn't there so when I emailed my complaint to the service manager explaining my grievance I was emailed a short letter by the Service advisor where i was told that the invoice is in the attachment and they have changed the shock absorber under warranty ..!! No solution was offered apart from the usual email fraise of don't hesitate to contact me if any help is needed . I did straight away asking for a speedy booking and rectification of my vehicle problem as obviously wasn't fixed....Unfortunately no reply solution was offered and it is very unfortunate to experience the bad car industry integrity issues I have listened about while working in the industry.....now for myself !!! Metro Renault is where I purchased my Kangoo from 3 years ago and my first couple of services were also there, I then gave up as BAD is the kindest thing you could say about the service department. The crew there now, are amazing and I cannot fault them. They listen, are respectful, patient and are thinkers that solve.Why did I go back after bad dealings? A warranty item that Mt Gravatt were sorting couldn't be fixed as they closed and Windsor was only close dealer. No problem since at service dept and if anything are totally opposite to original team. Regards Carolyn read more

Very happy with service at time of purchase. Would have been nice to be addressed as Sharon or Mrs Squires rather than "Hello Squires" for this survey. Just creates the impression that it is computer generated and not really of true interest to your team. Also I am due for a service at 15000 km and my "Service now" sign comes up every time I strart the car ( from 10000km on..) and the spanner symbol remains up the whole time. I arranged for my son to take it in for a service at 10000 to be advised that it is not needed till 15000. He advised that they (a lady from behind the service counter) tried to remove the symbol but couldn't and just left it at that. I lent my car to my daughter the other day and she rang in a panic thinking it was something that she had done to the car to make the spanner symbol pop up. Could I request that if there is an issue just as this that another step be considered. Thanks Sharon read more
