I never thought that a voice could be changed so drastically. I had always been told that you either have a naturally good voice or you don't. But that is simply not the case. I have seen Judy help people who could barely speak develop voices that are so big and so unique that no one would ever believe that they didn't have that voice naturally. And the development happens extremely quickly. The training takes focus and hard work, especially in the beginning, but once you get past everything being new and confusing, it all starts to work. The best part of the training is that you learn exactly how to do everything you want to do (you can learn to sing any and all styles of music) and how to continuously develop and maintain your own voice. The beauty of that is that you will not be dependent on someone for your whole life. You become the master of your own voice. It's very freeing and rewarding to know that you can sing and know why things are working and how to fix things that aren't working. It takes all of the fear and guesswork out of singing. As far as I know, no other milonga in the New York metropolitan area offers a full 1.5-hour pre-milonga class. The welcoming hostess, Terri Lopez, will make you feel at home and offer you water, wine and snacks. Every week there is a different DJ playing wonderful selections of tango music. During the COVID period Terri installed several powerful air purifiers to protect the dancers against the infection. The overall atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the people are very friendly. All of this is offered at a reasonable price. I have been attending Firehouse Tango for several years. I have enjoyed it tremendously and met many wonderful people. I recommend it highly.

She was out of school non-stop and was not napping for more than 10 minutes at school. We found Little Footprints and decided to move her there and the past three months have been AMAZING. The teachers and director are fantastic and we know our baby is loved and cared for there. The schedule at daycare has her napping a total of 3 hours a day and she has not been sick once. She absolutely loves going to daycare now and gets dropped off with a huge smile on her face and crawls right over to her teacher. If you're questioning coming here...do it. You won't regret it. :o)

Upon arrival I was unwelcomed by a foul stench of urine emanating from the kids bathroom near the front door. The owner seemed to have no control over the children in her class. She seemed high strung and overwhelmed by the amount of chaos being caused by the kids. However she has a very welcoming attitude. Another concern I had was that while she was friendly and showing me the school, she neglected her first priority- the children in the school. While the school was appealing because of the small size, the staff was more attentive to their cell phones than to the kids. The whole school seemed very dirty, and outdated. Tacky multicolored cubbies. I have chosen another school for my child, and would not recommend Footprints Preschool for anyone.
