Administrative was good, the actual movers( Jordan and helper) were rude, disrespectful, and…read moreuneducated There was some confusion early on regarding picture frames, management got involved and said they would take them and for same price quoted, Jordan's demeanor changed and I believe that set the tone for remainder of the move. I heard him telling other guy.
Then the other guy had parking lot blocked with truck and dumpster, a shuttle and a woman trying to go to work couldn't get out, woman yelled at me! I asked worker gently to move truck, he didn't, I saw him about 5mn.later I said can you move it right know?, people are waiting, he didn't do.it, no eye contact ,or Im sorry! I asked s third time and said can you unhook dumpster and put truck elsewhere?, he said it was a hassle, I said I understand but we can't be blocking people in!, he said nothing, still wouldn't move it. So I reported him to Brigham ( Supervisor, ) I had to call him 2x!! before it got moved!!!
Then I asked Jordan to fix rubber carpet stripping that was sticking up from furniture being drug on carpet, he said it was already like that, and cleaning lady said its ok ,I, said no it wasn't like that , he argued, I said we're in a Senior living facility and someone may trip over it,he got irate and marched abruptly over to fix it saying: ok your right, Im wrong"!! I haven't gotten a call from management to see how everything turned out, that doesn't impress me., maybe they will? that being said I probably won't use Junkluggers again.
The place I called before them( JP. movers) got mad because I canceled within the allowed time frame, and they knew I was shopping around! they left me an nasty text!
All this doesn't say much for the furniture moving industry!! I hope I don't have to move for long time! *Sidenote- I don't believe that ALL their reviews are 5 star!, its just not possible, thats they hand out gift cards!
