Everyone at the store was super nice, but the lady Nadine... was extremely rude, she was lying to me about an offer they have, I even called corporate to check on the offer (she also was talking over me on the phone to one of her colleagues at the store, she was saying... oh you need to pay every month) and they told me it was a prepaid plan and that the person was just talking nonsense... metro has never been a company where you do contracts for multiple months as they assured me when I called their (888) 863-8768 customer number . I went in to Get a phone hooked up. They took $85 aaaaaaand it doesn't work incoming at all. Totally ripped me off, no refunds, wouldn't name the manager or the store owner, I'd say call me, but 418-9131 doesn't f'in get calls. F$#@ that store, go somewhere they're honest. This store sucks and it's a flagship store. We got a text saying that Kelly's phone has to be upgraded. Cause t Mobile has taking over metro. Her phone is a galaxy s3 and works just fine. So we go there thinking we would get the best trade in at a corporate own store. They told us they could give us a $299 credit on a new phone. So the s5 would cost us $180 or the s6 would cost us $350. Remember there is nothing wrong with the phone we already have. This is just t mobile making us buy another phone. So after us waiting an hour for are name to be called, we get this news. I think they should just give us another phone of equal quality. But of course they are not going to do that. Now after we talked real fast, cause were already pissed about the whole thing. We decided to go with the s5. So we tell the guy what we want and he tells us that they don't even have the phone. Kelly ask so when will you have that phone. The guy said with a attitude I don't know you should get the s6. I lost it at that point and said you had us wait here for an hour and don't even have the phones your offering. He said it aint my fault they went very fast. Good answer on his part cause he was about to be uglier than god made him.. Kelly said to him again do you know when the phone will be in ? Once again he said no and he won't know til they are there. Yes it's a corporate store and yes it was crowded. However, my customer service rep was very knowledgeable and was very polite! Sam was 100% helpful and efficient. The crowd that's just everywhere. On the other hand i would like to say that The manager of this store is harmful for the business. She showed a bad atitude to the customer what she should not be showing. I had a bad experience here and now have severe buyer's remorse. First, the salesman didn't inform me fully about the phone I was purchasing, specifically the fact that it is impossible to move apps from the internal memory to an SD card...wouldn't have bought this model if I'd known that. :( Next, they charged me $39.00 (!!!) for a tempered glass screen protector that I later found out I could purchase for $5.91 from Walmart (!!!) :( Finally, the reason I agreed to the screen protector was that the salesman swore he could apply it for me perfectly, no problem...wrong! There's a noticeably large bubble in the center of the screen (!!!) :( I chose to visit a corporate Metro PCS store, as previous experience with them has always been very positive. Excellent customer service. Never wait more than 10 minutes, usually less. They are always willing to take the time to either show me how to work the various aspects of my phone including apps that I installed, or trouble shoot. They are polite and smart. I learned everything I know about smart phones from my many visits to the store. read more
