No good deed... I had dad on my phone plan and he decided to change phone carriers without letting me or John know. I had gotten a notification that my account had changes and I knew it was either dad or my son (on the other side of the country). Due to the time of day- I was pretty sure it was dad. Well- he managed to lock me of my account. I had a pin (the same one for 12 years) that had been rendered useless. I couldn't get any help online and the website advised me to go to a local store with my id. I was more than slightly irritated. BUT- the man at the store was very helpful- he found that my pin was in fact deactivated and was done when dad left the plan, the other carrier basically screwed up my account- thanks Verizon.
After confirming some details and coming up with a new pin, we were on our way. John suggested I pay my bill early- but there is a fee for in store payment and it's free online- so, I opted for free. I am grateful for the assist, I wish I could have taken care of it online though. *Not all stores are created equal- I have used this location in the past and I have gotten good service here. read more
