Yes the waits can be long in which case try to go during an hour with less people traffic. But this is the only metro pcs that kept a company promise to upgrade a phone for free. Andrea in particular is the consummate bilingual professional who was honest and ethical compared to colleagues on smaller stores who only wanted to make money and contradict company policy. Lies included stating the network upgrade promo was only intended for new customers. Bulls....t. I dislike jerks who insult intelligences that can motivate going somewhere else. The male staff member with the tattoos wouldn't complete my transfer from one phone to an insured phone I had purchased. Handed me the phone to speak to customer service when that was his job was to help me. Management didn't help either. Were laughing as though it was a joke. I work as a chef they have a $2/hr job really. They going to be rude like that. I wouldn't ever recommend this location to anyone. I had to go to another store far from here to get my phone's switched when I just live a block away. Very unprofessional. read more

There is absolutely No Reason what so ever for the minimum wait to approach a staff member to be 3 hours (on a Monday). When you walk in, the guy just provides you with a number, then you wait for 3 hours, once you are able to speak with a staff: they don't even bother to look at your phone or help you. Even if you are coming back for the second time (first time I also waited 3 hours) demanding that they provide you with a functional phone. Their response "company policy, sorry, we can't help you." My question to them "But I didn't do anything to the phone, it was not dropped, no water damage, please take a look at it." Their response "Buy a new phone." I understand why they can afford to have a 40$ plan...they take your money away by selling broken, non-functional 'new phones'. If you can afford T-mobile, please use them instead. Stay away from this place. And if you have to deal with them, please take your own chair, magazine, sneak a beer in, bring a pillow and cancel your plans for the next 3 hours. Oh and prepare to walk out feelings worst about your phone than when you walked in. This may sound like an exageration; I have been there twice and had the same experience. Maybe I just show up on the bad days (Sat and Monday)...who knows...My point: I hope you don't experience what I went through. read more

This phone company needs to be put out of its misery. Metro PCS ripped me off by selling me an expensive samsung phone, not having insurance, not helping me to repair the phone when it was three days out of warranty and generally acting like a bunch of smug bastards when they had my money already and didn't want to provide any customer service. I warn anyone who is seduced by the unlimited calling that it's not worth it considering the lousy service and poor reception. This is one company that deserves to be hung up on. Oh, and also Samsung wanted to charge me $80 to repair their ugly, stupid little phone. I will admit there was some craziness in the beginning I will say that in the end I got the assistance I needed. It wasn't the store that caused the mishaps but I am so glad they were able to help me cause I definitely need my phone for important calls I had been waiting on. The store manager Theresa was such a help. When Theresa was able to resolve my issue it was such a relief and she calmed me once she realized it was already over the run around I was receiving from somewhere else. The store is beautiful and worth going to. Everyone there is polite and they keep up with the covid guidelines for their store. I have had Metro PCS for 2 months. I bought a $40 card from Best Buy in Manhattan to pay for my monthly fee. I put in the secret codes etc... I spoke with a Metro PCS representative who CONFiRMED my payment. He said my phone would be operational within a couple of hours. He also charged me an extra $5 fee to change my payment date to a date more convenient for me. They charge you a fee for whatever you need to do. I had no reason to use my phone for 10 days (I have it as backup). Today I tried to use it and was informed that my phone was disconnected due to non payment. Why ?? I paid them 10 days ago !! I tried to call Metro PCS customer service to resolve this and cant get anything except a recorded loop. They have my $40. They have an additional $5. I cannot use the phone and I have no way to reach anyone at the company to fix this. I have no recourse. I have reported them to the BBB and I suggest you do too if you have problems. Metro PCS is nothing but a plan to steal your money and provide no service at all. I believe it is a consumer scam.. AVOID METRO PCS AT ALL COSTS !!!!! read more

I will like to write a complain regarding the "supervisor" of the morning shift 7/23/2018. The girl was very rude to my mother, my mother tried to make a payment on the machine inside and waited her turned. There was a couple that was arguing regarding payment at the inside machine, as she waited she made a slight comment asking if she can go before the couple since the couple was still not resolving the problem with payment. when the "supervisor" with dark long curly hair snap at her and told her very rudely to go outside since she was using the machine. My mother was very offended by this since the "supervisor" yelled at her, obviously she did not stay quiet, as she was waiting for her turned like everybody else. Not only this girl was rude to my mother but also to another gentleman waiting for his turned. To a point where the security guard had to interviene. My mother was very disappointed of the low customer service this store has, and couldn't believe that the company place someone like that on a higher position, who does not know how to deal with customers at high volume, she just hope this lady does not treat other customers like this, since it makes the company looks very unprofessional. read more

Dishonest and sleazy business practices. Don't shop here or the other 3 MetroPCS stores nearby. They're all owned by the same person named Joe. I can't speak for the company on a whole. I purchased a Samsung Indulge on June 9, 2011. I was helped by a female named Anna. She was polite and courteous. So was a tall, dark hispanic gentleman with an accent. (This guy helped me choose the phone and Anna rang everything up). I spent $430 total for the phone, first month's service and a $40 warranty Anna persuaded me to get. I specifically asked Anna (3 times) what their return policy was because I wanted to make sure that everything works out fine, with both the phone and their service. She said that they had a 7 day return policy, no questions asked. I also confirmed with her what I'd be able to return (everything but the 1st month's service $40) which I understood and agreed to. I had her verbally tell me that I would receive a full return on the phone and the warranty, totalling $390. It turned out that it wasn't for me. I wasn't happy with the phone and most of all was not happy with MetroPCS's coverage (or lack thereof). No service at my house at all and many areas my drivers needed. So I went back to the store on the 16th (7th day). It took over 2 hours to do the return. They tried everything to prevent the return. They 1st said that it was the 8th day not the 7th. Anna had inadvertently handwritten 6/8/11 on one receipt while the POS receipt said 6/9/11. The guy tried to tell me that the POS's date was wrong, not Anna's date. I told him I didn't care what he thought. The POS receipt states 6/9/11 and that was what I was going by. He then had me wait at least 45 minutes while he got his boss Joe on the phone. He then tells me that he has good news. That his boss approved the return. I couldn't believe that I was there for over an hour now and that an establishment like MetroPCS needed a JoeSchmoe to approve every return. He then proceeds to tell me that, however, there is a 25% restocking fee, also that the $40 warranty could not be returned. I got heated. Anna said nothing of that sort WHATSOEVER!!! Neither did the guy who was present. I swear I wish I had everything on tape. I couldn't believe that these guys were trying to lowball me. I started to get very agitated at this point (an hour and a half in the store now). I tell him that I wanted to speak with Joe the boss. I start explaining to Joe what Anna had quoted. Full return for everything minus the 1st month's service ($40). This guy Joe sounded like a hustler. After listening to my ordeal. He said that actually they're were no refunds in the store at all. And that he could not speak for Anna as he was not there (and she was conveniently on vacation). Also stated that he was doing me a favor by giving me anything at all. I have to say, I felt as if I were dealing with a street thug. His unprofessional attitude and total lack of customer service made me feel so out of place. I thought I was in a reputable store like Walmart, Bestbuy, etc. After negotiating back and forth with Joe the boss (which I couldn't believe I was doing) I ended up taking $250. I lost 2 and a half hours of my time, $140 and also received $115 parking ticket in the meantime. I was purchasing this phone for one of my drivers as a test. That's why android was important (needed Google Navigation). I ended up purchasing 10 MyTouch 4G's at $250 each on a $50/month prepaid plan with TMobile. Joe, if you ever get to read this. You don't know how to do business. You have the worst business ethics I have ever experienced. You lost thousands of dollars due to your sleazy business practices. TMobile now makes $6,000 a year off of me not to mention the thousands they have made and will continue to make with phones I buy from them. I happen to be a real techie guy. I love new toys. iPads, phones, gaming consoles, home theater systems, etc. I just have to try out a new toy or service when it comes out. I have dealt with almost everyone, BestBuy, walmart, NewEgg, etc., and have never come across anything like this. I will go out of my way to tell everyone I know, tens of thousands of customers, not to deal with MetroPCS and especially not to deal with Joe the boss. KSN read more
