Its incredible to me how the so called " help " says theres nothing wrong with a phone you need serviced. When you're showing them exactly whats wrong, REPEATEDLY! I've been with metro pcs since they started. I'm tired of the rude customer service in the several stores I've been in, and I'm tired of the excuses why they refuse to stand behind their products. Today was the last straw. Losing the 3 lines that i have with metro pcs won't mean anything to them, but I'll bet theres a lot more people out there that have had enough of poor customer service too. Went in to replace a phone. There was only ond customer finishing up and three employees. It took a while to be greeted. Looks like it was pissibly shift change since one employee walked out with their gear. I was approached by a female. She greeted me in spanish and proceeded to tumble out a littany of foreign words. I had no clue what she was saying and stated so. She stood silent so I explained to her that I am just a brown person and no I don't speak spanish. She had no appology but glared at me dismissively and annoyed as if I just offened HER. I saw this as clear racism. I am Asian. I have a tan. This woman was offensive by assuming that I can only speak Spanish simply because of my complextion. Point of fact : Spain is in EUROPE. That's where the pale gene pool is from. It's affectionately known as "WhiteManistan". Most of the world sports various shades of tan/brown. They don't all speak Spanish but have a multitude of other languages... that are NOT Spanish. To T-Mobile, I emplore them to hire better quality people AND in addition, please incorporate "racial"/ ETHNIC sensitivity to their training ( how not to be a F%$#@&g racist) Oh.. also, she didn't really help me find a new phone. They don't answer the phone. I have called for over 35 minutes and it hangs up on me and then I call back and then it hangs up on me.

I had a good experience when i came into this store to switch from T-Mobile. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable with all of my questions about the plans, phones and equipments, and also the billing. They pretty much answered all my questions and i was able to switch fairly quickly and easily. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Im very satisfied with their customer service now that i am able to take advantage of their cheap plans. I recommend! read more

the metro store in ypsilanti on Washtenaw is a sorry store! not talking about the other kinda sorry store of theirs on Washtenaw in ann arbor or Pittsfield. that ypsilanti sorry store lied and told me that i could get this alcatel that's from oversees that's bigger and cheaper than the lg. they lye inly sold to me! i paid over the downpayment for this phone . i called a few times asking where or when is my phone arriving. the stores two employees lied to me. saying it would arrive the following week. when i called back and asked "is the phone coming or will you have the phone or not" the mexican guy hung up the phone on me!"im non white".. so when i get there the manager a Arab guy and the same mexican employee both said the phone is not coming until further notice due to factory closings in china etc! so i end up buying an lg that replaced the other older lg that i did not like either.. the lg phones are not top notch anymore. plus i had to pay more to purchase this lg phone that was much smaller than the alcatel! im still upset as i write this. im going to At&t and give them a chance even though there prices are more. you get services that are top notched unlike the metro pcs service. their services drops calls has bad interference etc. read more

DO NOT use Metro PCS for cell phone service. My house is undergoing demolition due to flooding and I need a dependable way to stay in touch with the contractors who will be restoring it after the demolition is complete. I bought my phone on August 30. Today is September 22, and I still cannot receive incoming calls on my phone. I spent literally TWO HOURS at the Metro PCS corporate store on September 18, trying to get this situation resolved. As time approached for the store to close, the person waiting on me gave me a list of numbers and told me to call them and take care of the situation myself. Someone finally answered the phone and told me that full service would be available within 72 hours. Another lie. I can send calls but still can not receive them. I've been trying to reach a live person through the toll free number, but only get a recorded message that tells me to select an item on my phone's screen. Nothing gives me the option to talk with a live person regarding this matter. If you are a masochist, then go ahead and use Metro PCS. If you want phone service, go elsewhere. read more

I've been with Metropcs for over a year now. I like the LG phone and the great deal with unlimited everything. The other day I dropped my LG and broke the screen so had to purchase a new one. Of course, this happened on Sat. night so went to the Washtenaw store on Sunday since it was the only one open. Brandon was great, helpful and professional. That night I was trying to set up my back up assistance for contacts and it wouldn't work. The next day when the store was opened I called to speak to Brandon. He was not there. I spoke with a woman. She was highly rude, unprofessional. She said I had to come in to fix the problem, which meant for me to drive another 20 miles round trip. So I called the store on Stadium and asked them for help. The man was very friendly, understanding and actually listened to me. He said the Washtenaw store is known for their unprofessionalism and rudeness. He gets many complaints. I tried calling back to the Washtenaw store later in the day and today, but they refuse to pick up the phone. The woman must have put a "warning" on my number. I will never go back to that store!! After calling 611 and speaking with 5 customer care people, the last man I spoke with said he would run a diagnostic on my phone, and it should fix the issue. He said to wait 2 hours. I did and checked back and all was working just fine. Now why did it take me 8 customer support people to simply say "I'll run a diagnostic". How hard is that? I am giving 2 stars because of Brandon and the last man at 611 for their help, and professionalism. Too bad the rest of the employees havent been trained in professional customer service and providing solutions. read more
