We hated our service with AT&T but felt trapped. Since switching to Insider Telecom we have saved so much money! Not only have they been very helpful with their own product but they have worked with us and our building's limitations. Chuck calls and checks in on us just to see if everything is okay. Other businesses in our building have switched to Insider Telecom as well and like us are very happy they did. read more

From the Business

Specialties

We are your businesses Local Phone Company! We provide phone service to small businesses. Our service includes: Phone installation, Phone system remote hosting, Network Services, On going support for phone and network in the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area.

History

Established in 2012.

For the past twenty years we have been providing custom telephone software to large call centers throughout the United States. In 2012 we expanded our offerings by starting a new business providing local Voice over IP phone service ( VoIP) to local businesses. This resulted in bringing our white glove treatment, normally reserved for larger call center customers, to small businesses in the local area!

Meet the Business Owner: Charles K.

I have spent much of my career working for and owning small businesses. I understand their cash flow challenges and how important holding down costs can be to the bottom line. I started Insider Telecom as a way to give local businesses a way to save money on high quality telecom ( phone) service while not having to constantly keep up with the rapidly changing landscape of the telecom industry.

I walked in before my shift, knowing I'd come back during my lunch hour, and I knew I would have to change one of my lines to be eligible for a new phone, and I had a the Samsung Galaxy S9 in mind, knowing that my mom didn't need the most updated phone for what she uses it for, and although it's a lot, it's not enough. I was told that the Samsung Galaxy S10e was on promotion, so I went with that. My new Rogers rep went through pricing, financing, and the activation fee with me and clarified any questions. She didn't have to set up the phone because I was going to set it up that night for my mom. But the service was amazing, and it took no time at all to upgrade my line. Definitely coming back here to speak to my new Rogers rep next time I want to upgrade my device.

What's more, they included some OEM accessories and phone protection which really made this feel like a superb deal and experience. I would 100% go to them again for tech needs.
