Let me start off by saying that I am a wonderful procrastinator. With that being said, I have been known to miss the tax deadline here and there. And then I don't give myself a hard time about it... until the next set of w2's come in the mail and I realize that I never actually filed my taxes, nor that extension I'd been meaning to for last year's. So I've seen this concierge service over the summer and thought the services offered were great but more than I need. Recently I came to the realization that maybe I need more help than I think. And I do. Starting off with getting my taxes caught up was the easiest thing! Like seriously, the papers I kept moving from one place to another I just sent to Ellie and after a few emails later, poof its done! I'm in NJ and she's in CA, which is huge because I work late and get off late so if she asks a question or I was supposed to do something earlier but haven't gotten to it yet (shocker), by the time I can get to it, I don't have to worry about it being after business hours, being late to work to drop something off beforehand or waiting for another appointment to discuss what we've already discussed. I just get back to them when I can, be it 5 minutes or 4 hours later. I think we went back and forth about 3 times (1 of those being a 'gentle reminder', lol ) and everything was already filed and sent off. You don't even have to stop doing anything you're doing throughout your day. It's literally the same exertion of energy as sending a text. I've honestly never done anything easier.
