It's now more of a liquor focused outlet giving little attention to fine and/or interesting wines. Sadly, for the past 2+ years this place is no longer the great store it once was. Looking at the reviews from the past two years, you can see I'm not the only one who feels things have gone downhill. Such a shame to have the biggest liquor store in beautiful Andover become such a dud.

In fact it's seem like it's the largest liquor store in the area. The wine selection is not so robust but you can find your basic brands and grape wines. The parking lot sometimes sketching. People smoking and drinking nips in there car almost every time I stop in. The beer prices and liquor are a few cents cheaper then other places in the area. Will put up more images next time I go in

I found a few new bourbons to try thanks to Dan and one rare old favorite selling at a very reasonable price. Many places lately are jacking up the prices on the hard-to-find stuff but these folks don't play that game. They have a nice events tasting room and they run special events that I'm hoping to participate in. A nice place to spend some time browsing and chatting with knowledgeable, nice people.

It wasn't until I was driving to whole foods that I noticed it from the main road. I've even seen it while I'm parked in the whole foods parking lot facing towards the wine store. Even though week after week and month after month, it was a store that I passed by very often and never had a chance to go in or give it a try often times due to a lack of time. Similar to passing by a restaurant along a busy street but never having the chance to try it. This past weekend, I'm glad I did get a chance to check it out. I went in with a couple friends after we were dissatisfied with another liquor store's wine selection further up the street. It was a "let's go check out this shop" kind of moment. The owner, Samantha, is really nice and knowledgeable about the different kinds of wine in the store. She receives shipments very often so the selection changes from week to week. Previous reviews on yelp have noted this too and it still stands true. The quality of the wine is carefully selected too. The prices here are not too bad with most wines ranging between $15-$25/30. I went in thinking that I would not be purchasing something but I'm glad I did and was happy with it. In the end, this is a store that I wished I had checked out early on. We learned a lot about the different wines and the selection is quite unique. Great experience, I will definitely be returning back.

Was given a dismissive look and a significant sigh when I asked for assistance. Won't be shopping or recommending this shop anytime soon having been in the hospitality industry since 1999. Left such a poor taste in my mouth, and would prefer to spend my money elsewhere.
