Once the fabric hanging down off the raft got caught on a rock and we were stuck with cold water rushing over our torsos. Brrr, after a few minutes we got unwedged!!! There were a few lazy moments between the many slightly scary invigorating moments. Getting out of the river was super challenging, very slippery round rocks and rushing current required a crab walk while dragging raft to exit. Was it super-fun? YES! Would we do it again? Maybe?!?

They had a 20% off deal going which was good because there was 4 of us. Once we went to pay we received an additional discount and they delivered the kayaks to the lake for us. When we got to the water we were ready to go, then the guy tells us we can stay out as long as we like just call when we are ready to go. I insisted that he return in 1 hour (as I said, not my idea) I was the only one of us to fall in the water which was quite the way to end our short adventure. I was thoroughly impressed, and I've skied Whistler/Blackcomb, Sun Peaks, Baker, Bachelor, Crystal, Stevens, Schweitzer...the list goes on. This was one of my favorites! Small lodge, but that was fine. Food was good but it took a while due to the high volume. Lift tickets were $48 for holiday prices, but normally $42. Great deal. We will be back!

The parking lot is right off the runs and the new lodge is really nice. The food is affordable, the lift lines are super short, and the skiing is fast. There in lies the one warning...sometimes they are challenged to get enough snow and you might need rock skis. Not this year. A really great time for all.

I went rafting before but it must have been in the middle of the day because at that time I was hot in my gear, this time I was super cold. The trip was a blast. The guides are awesome. One raft lost people to the drops but we helped rescue everyone. I think it's totally worth your time and money. Save up for the experience, it certainly is worth it. If you are going to do only 1 or so trips, do the class 5.

She also had great stories and a great sense of humor. It was really hot waiting to get into the boats in wet suits but the wet suits were necessary and you can walk into the river beforehand to cool off. Definitely recommend!
