I was supposed to arrive at 8 am for a 10 am surgery. At 930, I'm told that my surgery was scheduled for 1230. It was on the paperwork they had at the desk when I told them I was checking in for a 10am procedure. My doctor's office had 8 am check in for 10 am procedure all over my paperwork. Frustrating and of course makes me question my life. They rectified this by getting me in prep at 10 so I was not waiting around any longer. The nurses in pre-op were great. They were super kind and professional. The post-op nurse was a little abrupt, but he also demonstrated quality care. Every person that came through my room was kind, gentle, and professional. My afternoon nurse was Travis and he was fantastic. Shawn was the overnight nurse and he was just the best! I didn't spend much time with Bethany in the morning, but also demonstrated a supportive and kind manner. These people made my stay very comfortable. The hospital is under construction and there's construction on the highway which makes arriving a little complicated. I did like their lobby which has a coffee shop with a lot of options.... Options I couldn't have because I was fasting. Overall, not a bad place for a surgery and also to ride out the massive storms we had Friday night.

We were told to go here after the urgent care we went to referred my dad. We went there, got X-rays…read moreright away and then waited and waited for the doctor to come and tell us our results. We asked the nurse for the doctor to consult after waiting hours in the waiting room. We waited another hour just for the doctor to walk past us 3 separate times without discussing the results. We ended up being discharged without having the results and to never have a consult. You'd be better off going to Baptist up north! We've always had great experiences there.

She went in with Pain on her shoulder after having chemo, they kept saying it was the chemo its the chemo...blah blah blah. Well after being there a week they finally ok'd her to get the port removed. Well to our surprise there was infection there. No wonder she was in pain. She also had a very bad cough. Again...its the Chemo Chemo Chemo!! Well after they FINALLY took a chest x-ray they found Pneumonia!! They said it was only on one of her lungs. They gave her treatment for her lungs but it wasn't working. She was still coughing very short of breath. My mom would wake up in a panic because she couldn't breath, well they ended up giving her xanax to calm her down while she is knocked out because of the drug fluids were building up in her lungs Well finally after almost 3 weeks they said that they were going to release her. My mom said that she didn't feel well enough to go home. The doctor asked her...Do you plan on staying here forever?? (jerk) Well then my parents got their things and went home. My mom couldn't breath the whole night. We ended up taking her to ANOTHER hospital and she was diagnosed with Pneumonia!! this x-ray said it was on BOTH lungs. Lungs were filled with water. I'm here and again with the over due bill now it's from 2018 not to mention that I've been here 2019-2020 and was never told about this so called bill so I start asking questions as I should and Kim brings her rude self up to the window and says she doesn't like my attitude while slamming her fist into her hand, then tells me "I ain't tryna take your money you should be glad some patients pay more" then she says either pay the money or find another doctor. At one point she said that just because we were married didn't mean that we should stop testing for STIs because those happen in same sex relationships as well-- totally insinuating that we were promiscuous or otherwise unfaithful. Incredibly disrespectful, did not listen to her patients, spent next to no time in the exam room, and IS NOT LGBT+ friendly.
