I have bought 3 power lawn tools by stihl from stine because they said they work on them, but apparrently not. I thought Stihl would have standards their dealers would be required to live up to, but I must have been mistaken. All I would like is for stines to fix my blower and get it back to me. They must not understand how much of an inconvenience this is to their customers. I have spent thousands there like most people from here. GOODBYE STINE and STIHL. jim lee

A brick mason gave me a supply list for some brickwork I needed done at my house. I ordered 2 pallets of specialty bricks and supplies. When it came time to do the job he never showed up, week after week I called and he kept saying he'd come and never arrived. I finally found a great mason who did some repair arches in my courtyard but was able to use the old bricks and barely touched what I ordered. The bricks sat for months and drive-by people started stealing my bricks. Finally I called Herman Brown and asked if I could return them, thinking there was no way they'd accept a return after months. But to my complete surprise he was able to explain what happened to the mason that never showed up (he knows the local masons) but quickly said he'd take the bricks back and sent someone out that day with a truck and picked them up! Then he sent a refund. This kind of local business ethic is extraordinary and the Lake Charles area is blessed to have this business.

My father bought an $18,000 tractor and it takes fighting with them to bring someone out to help. Sleezeball money grabbers who don't give 2 craps after you leave with something and they have your money. He recently passed away and all I wanted was someone to help me figure out to operate it and they said they'll make it out here by the end of the week. NOPE completely forgotten and blown off. Not a single sympathetic bone in their bodies. Definitely not a family friendly company and at this point heartless scum because I can't even cut the grass for my mother. My father would be greatly disappointed in this treatment. So don't even waste your time unless you want a bad time and a headache. I'd recommend a Husqvarna to people after this mess.
