TLDR; It's got a nice small-town character with great food. If it's your first time, prepare to read EVERYTHING and not get greeted on entry. Be assertive or wait for more important customers to get through. If you don't turn the right way and read the correct choice of many signs, you'll be a little lost on their ordering methods the first time in. You approach the counter to order to go or you seat yourself to get dine-in service. Once we got the skinny at the front counter, we found a very nice seat near the store front and then got passed over for other tables that sat down after us. It wasn't a great start, but the experience turned around right after that. Very friendly service once we got there. We started with a couple of specialty hot cocoas (fireside and peppermint bark) that were delicious and served at a perfect temperature to enjoy immediately. We both loved our lunch choices between a soup and panini combo on special and a wrap on their regular menu. The wait after ordering wasn't too long and the food was fresh-tasting and the perfect blend of gooey and carefully prepared for both. We definitely want to come back when we can, but their hours are certainly not set up to cater to those that work all day outside of downtown and have a traditional weekend!

Our town is very fortunate enough to have these sisters back together in business. They have only been open for about 3 weeks now and are already popular. This is such a lovely place to spend time with your girlfriends, sisters, mothers, grandmothers as it just oozes everything fun and vibrant about women. The décor is vibrant, whimsical and as the name suggests, bohemian. You can't help but smile when you walk into the historical home (please read their website about the history). They have a limited food menu, but there really isn't a need for anything larger. They have perfected 4 sandwiches with croissants, homemade breads and wonderfully thick slices of meat. The condiments are the standard and your taste buds will be happy for it. They have a wonderful selection of teas as well as other beverages and a couple specialty drinks on their menu. Accompanying the sandwiches are 3 side choices and it's a hard choice. The sides themselves, put together, would be a fun meal. To end it all, they have already taken feedback from customers and made dessert bites that are perfect. Today's special was a pineapple and cherry dessert served in a wine glass. This place is perfect for special occasions, small events, ladies lunch and of course - treat yourself! I for one can't wait to take my mother here. They are currently open Thursday - Saturday 10am to 3pm by reservation only. This is mainly due to the limited parking.

Was almost blown off the road by a funnel cloud (not exaggerating) and decided to decrease my blood pressure by taking a break from driving to get some fuel--for my vehicle and for me. Saw a sign for a raceway here, in Kellogg, Iowa, so I pulled off the highway. I figured if men and machines were involved in something not far away, there had to be some good grub nearby. And, baby, was I right. This family-run business is too adorable. At the diner, I got me a mean hamburger and a just-right, mildly spiced polish sausage with some crinkle fries that were to-die-for. At the five and dime, I picked up postcards with photos of the elusive jackalope; and a bookmark with a photo of a giant ear of corn that must be 25 feet tall. Kellduff Diner and Five & Dime Store--what a gem of a place you are. I salute you!
