On the gas island, you'll find Unleaded, Unleaded 88 ( Unl Oxy 88 at Iowa Kwik Star) and Diesel #2. Inside you'll find Karuba coffee, Kwikery baked items, soft drinks, milk, etc. all the standard convenience store junk foods. It's an older and smaller location. It's also a very busy one and it is starting to show wear and tear here and there. But that's not the issue here. The store had a plumbing problem in the rest rooms. Use your imagination. What's worse, the fixture was missing operational gear. The door should have been locked and the door signed, "Out of Order." It's an awful thing to report about one store in a personal favorite chain of several hundred locations.

I walked in no one greeted, I kept looking for items and it clearly looked like I was struggling, no one offered help, I came to checkout but at the other end 2 employees were having chitchat and there was no sense of urgency to help. The employee walked slowly took the items told me the amount, no hello, no hi, or did you find everything you were looking for, and then thank you for shopping.

(For the record, I have an issue with the pony pump so when it gets close to a quarter of a tank it thinks it is empty. Mechanic tried to fix it twice to no avail.) So, I limped over to Git N Go and filled up. Phew! Life saver. :) Pumps are sitting at an angle which makes getting in and out easy. People parking to go inside always mess the flow of traffic up but that is their issue (don't know how to park) and not Git N Go's issue. The other time I did go inside and staff were all friendly and it was decently clean. Truckers like to park in the lot out back overnight.
