Working outside the office leads more productivity. There more opportunity to breathe and think…read more Creativity comes out when we step out of our confined desk. Coffee shops are always packed and coworking space is not a thing in Quezon City. My colleague and I ended up finding place in ITC Building at Panay avenue, it is just few blocks away from Quezon ave. Beiruti bites is at the 2nd floor. It was quiet with only 2 occupied tables. The design is heavily inspired by modern middle east setting. They serve true lebanese food. Still full from a heavy lunch so we ordered lightweight snacks to munch on. Hummus P130 and deep fried falafel P160. Food is plated nicely. The strawberry yogurt shake is a good-tasting cooler too. It took a while for orders to arrive. We kindly requested for water but it was only responded on our third call. Despite the slow service, we're still interested to come back dinner time to try the grilled meat platter mixed with Beef, Shish Taouk (Chicken), Kafta (Ground Beef).

Beiruti Bite is a small, Lebanese restaurant that specializes in their local cuisine, from kebabs,…read moreshawarmas, to grilled pies. It is located along Panay Ave., in the same building as the BPI at the corner of Timog, but the sign isn't visible from the outside. Some of the people in our group missed it the first time they pass the street. As a 'big' family, we ordered tons of stuffs from the menu just to try each one. Sambusek (cheese). It was a Lebanese spring rolls folded into a small, triangle envelope. It was similar to the Greek spanakopita, but was filled with just cheese, their local cheese. The cheese wasn't that salty and cheezy, like what we grew up with. It was nice and crunchy. It was served with a spicy, yogurt dip that complimented and gave the cheese life. Beef Shawarma Plate was really good. The beef was spiced and flavorful. It was cooked just right. And the pickles on the side was really sour! I was surprised, expecting to be the same as the German pickles, salty, sour, and crisp. But was good. Shish Taouk was large chunks of chicken marinated in yogurt and spices, skewered with onions and bell peppers, similar to the Kebab Skewers we know. The chicken was moist and flavorful. I didn't expect it to be like this, it was really good. Lahme B Aajine was a minced meat pie. Similar to a quesadilla, but made with a freshly made pita bread. The only problem I had was the ground meat was old. It didn't tasted fresh and there's a smell that signals this meat is going to be spoiled sooner than later. It is similar to the ground meats that is sold in grocery stores that has a slightly foul odor due to meat handling. The food was great, but the service was bad! Our orders got confused and we were the first customer to arrive in our batch and was last to be served. There was only one chef (Lebanese) in the kitchen, which is the owner, with 2 assistants inside. I pity the server, because she was in the middle of the situation and was teary eyed. We just kept on following up our orders. Some orders took more than an hour to arrive.  I'm hoping on my next visit, it wouldn't be this bad. The food was really good and authentic. Something I would go back there for.  P.S. I rarely rate service as part of my rate, but this time, it was abit worse. #TheFoodCrawlers #OngsFoodprints #TheLostDiego

Ground floor had a shopping complex and some small restaurants, then we walked up a flight of stairs coming to find out 2nd floor was a huge gamimg LAN center. Didn't expect how big this place was until I reached the top 3rd floor. It was an outdoor area and indoor in the middle where there you could dine and eat food, play board games or watch sports and movies on a big flat screen TV. Then theres an outdoor section where you can smoke your sheesha and have coversations with a group. They had a few authentic selections of middle eastern and asian foods like shawarmas, Biryani, hummus , mogoul and fruit smoothies and shakes. Food I can rate 7/10, service 8/10, setting 8/10. All in all experience was comfortable and I'd definitely come back to have another chill funday Sunday.

The prices are very affordable, the servings are never disappointing and the service is so quick you don't have to wait too long to get your order. Sometimes what I do is call them when I'm on my way home from work and pick-up my order right when I reach BF. I always come here for their beef shawarma, chicken biryani and hummus. The hummus is a personal favorite of mine. The ingredients are blended so well with just the right amount of flavors, that I always get a second batch of pita bread without fail. Shawarma Snack Center has a nice rustic ambience to it too. It's simple and comes with outdated interiors that will make you believe that it's 1993 and you're dining in a tiny village in the Middle East. Definitely a gem in the south!

She told me she knew of a good Persian restaurant near by that I might like to try and since we're already there, why not? When we got there it made me realize that I actually know the restaurant and have been there a few times though admittedly it was late at night and a couple of friends were starving from drinking all night. We were greeted by the friendly staff and were shown to our table, since I don't go Persian a lot, she was kind enough to walk me through the menu and gave us a few minutes to decide. This has to be one of my favourite Persian restaurants even though it's small and not updated when it comes to the interior and such but when it all boils down to it, does it really matter? The food you're getting is top notch and it's also very affordable. Try it and maybe see for youself!

Surprisingly, there were 3 other medium/large parties in the restaurant as well, keeping the ambiance pretty lively. The restaurant is very clean and bright. They give each table its own pitcher of water and some of the garlic white sauce and hot sauce these types of restaurants are known for. Food came out super fast!! We waited probably less than 10 minutes. Our entire party of 6 got the beef chelo with basmati rice and grilled tomatoes. Loved how fresh the tomatoes they used were. The texture contrast with the grilled end and the fresh part was great. It definitely came with a lot more rice than you'd see from places like Mister Kebab so for those on low-carb diets, be warned! The beef came cooked well and seasoned just right. No complaints. The cleanliness, long hours, and good food are more than enough reasons to come back the next time I'm around Timog and craving Mediterranean!
